it would seem i need one in my life, not that i knew this till 11pm last night while rummaging on ebay

the reviews are mixed has anyone got one?

im not sure i could cope with fuzzy christmas songs on the hour every hour, but clear jolly music would be fine Grin

I have one that they sold about 5 years ago in the Avon catalogue. The music is really clear and the fireplace lights up while it plays it's tune

lookingforbaubles · 25/09/2014 17:03

thank you, does it still work 5 yrs later?

i have ordered one Grin

was very tempted by the elf cuckoo clock but shipping from the usa was ridiculous

Yes it does Grin

I knew I shouldn't have clicked this thread!!

IsItMeOr · 25/09/2014 22:38

Me too lunar.

Now I need a link, please Grin

lookingforbaubles · 26/09/2014 07:38

im afraid links are beyond me, but an ebay or amazon search of 'chistmas musical clock' or 'elf cuckoo clock' will delight you Grin

this?

KnackeredMuchly · 26/09/2014 07:59

Ohhhhh now I need an elf cuckoo clock!!!

IsItMeOr · 26/09/2014 08:00

Thanks Iamblossom - I had found that but thought we must be talking about something more dramatic, as 2anddone mentions a fireplace lighting up.

I was imagining something 3D, possibly with a small working train going round and round...

(Shuffles off to look at Mr Christmas stuff on QVC)

IsItMeOr · 26/09/2014 08:11

Mr Christmas knows what I'm talking about.

DS would love one of these. Would it drive me and DH insane?

lookingforbaubles · 26/09/2014 08:57

the one i have ordered is slightly more plasticy, and has falling snow during the music

Do you all realise that I'm now seriously considering buying a christmas clock? My poor husband had never even celebrated Christmas till he met me. He will think I've completely lost the plot!

IsItMeOr · 26/09/2014 15:51

Both of those are very nice knackered.

I am going to restrain myself for today, as I have already ordered Christmas duvet sets for all of us.

Guitargirl · 26/09/2014 17:56

Oh god, I am now the proud owner of a Christmas clock. Knew I shouldn't have clicked on this thread...

KnackeredMuchly · 26/09/2014 18:47

Ha! Which one did you go for guitargirl?

Guitargirl · 26/09/2014 18:56

That second one you posted knackered, the one with the snow. Smile

FoxSticks · 26/09/2014 19:03

Now I think I need a cuckoo christmas clock! I wonder what the tunes are ....

FoxSticks · 26/09/2014 19:09

Look what I found Grin

clara85 · 26/09/2014 20:05

Clock is amazing, I wish we would all make a group order to save on postage :)

Oldraver · 26/09/2014 20:19

Oh I have just been looking at decals as DS had a nice one around his clock last year. I've just a minute ago looked out the picture.....not sure I can get the decal again so maybe he could have a new clock OH would think I'd gone nuts

christmas clock
IsItMeOr · 26/09/2014 22:09

Oldraver those decals are great! Why can't you get them again?

lookingforbaubles · 29/09/2014 19:34

my snowing clock arrived today, i have to say its lovely!

music is clear and not too long --tho it was loud enough to draw a crowd of the older ds in the kitchen who all did this face Hmm
