HopeAndStories · 10/09/2014 18:56

Wantacatplease, I am a UK size 7 (only recently though as my feet have shrunk from losing weight!) and I ordered a size up, so a UK 8, to accommodate thick socks/jeans tucked in. Then fit fine on the feet but a bit tight on the leg which hopefully will be better once more weight is off!

wantacatplease · 10/09/2014 18:59

Ok thanks!

AtlanticDrift · 10/09/2014 18:59

Ordered few of these barbie dresses for £1.70 . They are lovely & especially nice because lots of barbie clothes are quite risqué

AtlanticDrift · 10/09/2014 19:01

Or here are 5 dresses & shoes for £4.50

ipswichwitch · 10/09/2014 19:16

Anyone seen a prince Hans doll? It's £60 on amazon. £60!!!!

lucysmam · 10/09/2014 19:55

eatyou my dad picked up re-useable, felt, advent calendars with pockets in the Range a couple of years ago for my girls. They were only a quid or so. They're almost as long as a door, red felt with gold numbers on the pocket. One has a felt santa on top and the other a felt snowman Smile

eatyouwithaspoon · 10/09/2014 19:59

thank you all, dvd ordered and a trip to the range on the cards Smile

RumAppleGinger · 10/09/2014 20:14

Just back from Asda. In the 2 for £14 section they had playmobil sets, the ones that come in the carry cases so picked up the cops and robbers and the cowboy ones. They're usually £10 each.

Also those in Scotland Itison are doing a Yankee candle £10 voucher for a fiver that can be redeemed in the Edinburgh, Glasgow and Livingston branches.

pigleychez · 10/09/2014 20:17

Lucysmam- We have that felt calendar too! Bought by my mum. Every year they buy us a big box of sweets to fill it with too.

Mama1980 · 10/09/2014 20:17

Whoever posted about the £1 squid soap in pound world thank you SmileThanks ( sorry I can't find the post to name check) got some today and my sons think it's so much fun. Plus you can take off the 'squid' and reuse on other bottles.
Word of warning though the stamp ink dries very quickly and when dry doesn't come off easily!

daddykyller · 10/09/2014 20:20

Disney 10-inch Doc Mcstuffins soft toys are nearly half price at £7.49 on amazon at the moment.

Here's a link to one:

Lots of goodies tonight in the shops, tesco's had the barbie windsurf and bicycle, both £6 on the shelf but were scanning at just £2.

B&M had the large Frozen stamp set for £5.99, Frozen mini memory game for £2.99 and a lovely Frozen hardback notebook with gel pen for £1.49.

The Range has the Christmas department open now, but the main thing they had was lots and lots of Frozen goodies. Nothing in the sale, but they had the full range of party tableware. Also a huge beautiful Frozen tin of colouring pencils and a Frozen magnetic sketcher both £4.99. They also had a Frozen cushion but at £7.99 was a bit expensive for what it was, or maybe I am just getting used to my bargains. Grin

tassisssss · 10/09/2014 20:43

Our tesco has Monster High dolls reduced from £14 to £7. These are big hit with dd who has a spake of birthday parties so were just what I needed!

Oodlives · 10/09/2014 20:44

Ooh jokey tea towels would be a good one for dh. North/south divide, superheroes if either exist.

lucysmam · 10/09/2014 20:45

pigley I use a random assortment of cheap goodies from amazon (thanks to this thread), some sweets and some activities. Keeps the girls busy with something to do each day of Advent.

lucysmam · 10/09/2014 20:47

What are those phone cases called that charge a phone? Dp has asked for one that opens like a book for his HTC M8 but I'm a bit Confused where to look.

RubyFlint · 10/09/2014 21:03

parentally that sounds great about the snowman crayons. I did have a funny feeling they had been posted before. But my memory isn't what it was!

So much for saving money though. I've been snapping up bargains like I'm in some mad trolley dash. Eek I've just totted up all my orders..

Star glow light
Lip gloss Russian doll things
Finger puppets
Invisible writing pen
Whoopee cushion
Snowman crayons
Banana rubbers

Frozen Anna dress
Maps book
Slipper socks Joules £4.99 unbloodybelievable price from £20. So I bought 2 pairs. One for me.

Clapper board
Fox bag
Princess watch
Tassimo wonderful Tassimo - v v happy
Mini jingle bells

I think I have more than enough stocking filler tat presents for DD's relatively small stocking.

And lots of presents for nieces and nephews etc! Thanks to everyone Thanks Time now to sit on hands for a while.

RubyFlint · 10/09/2014 21:08

Forgot to say in my considerably long Blush post that the Joules slipper socks are actually slippers not socks.

Clr2014 · 10/09/2014 21:09

Rubyflint - sit on your hands?! Pah! Good luck with that! ;-)

misstiredbuthappy · 10/09/2014 21:09
