DD will be 3 at Christmas and we want to get her a play kitchen. Wooden or plastic? Any recommendations?

Good sized and great quality she got it last year it's played with daily and still looks brand new. You can buy some lovely red pots and pans from spotty green frog to match.

I don't think the link works, but it is supposed to take you to the cooker, sink and washing machine wooden stand alone separates which I bought for DS1 about 4 years ago.

They are made by Big Jigs and you should shop around, as one websites sell them for around £60 each. Others charge more.

Ours have had huge use. They are sturdy too, as I have moved them around the house and in and out if the garden and playhouse. Loads of children have played with them, some quite roughly, and they are as new. I would really recommend them and the brand.

Look at ikea hack for duktig on google, lots of people have customised the ikea kitchens. I was planning on it but didn't bother in the end,
