That Snowman jigsaw puzzle is really lovely MTWTFSS. I went to order it for the DC then realised it was a 1000 piece puzzle. My DC will be 4 and 6 at Christmas Blush

Again, like last year, I'm looking for Curious George stuff! And thread baby from last year seems to love ITNG

Some nice things in the National Trust shop sale section [http://shop.nationaltrust.org.uk/sale/c207] gifty things for adults rather than kids.

beccajoh · 05/08/2014 20:47

Arse can never get links right! Am on app so can never remember how to do it. Maybe this will work

These folding cosmetics cases might be nice for dds (littler ones or bigger ones) and are just over £3 delivered, on eBay here. That seller has a few other bits and bobs, alongside some truly weird shit...

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 05/08/2014 22:10

Girl there's some Curious George tops and soft toys on Ali Express.

RosieBdy · 05/08/2014 22:37

I use the free app santa's bag, which I LOVE. You can set budgets, plus check off if a present is ordered, delivered, received and even wrapped! I like that you can tick off when you've finished buying for someone, there's something satisfying about looking down the list of ticks! You can also put if it's a 'stocking stuffer' or a gift that you've bought but not assigned to anyone yet... I used it last Christmas and was excited to start using it again this year! Hope it's of use to someone Smile

For those of you lucky enough Envy to get an Elsa dress from Asda a while ago...what is the sizing like? Dd will be 4 in September, and not sure whether to go for 3-4 or 5-6 to get maximum wear...does it come up small or right for size? (she has been petite but is probably 'average' height for her age now)
I wouldn't have minded too much how well it fitted if I'd got it from Asda for £15, but as it never seems to be back in stock I think I'm destined to pay over the odds on ebay, so want to make sure I get it right! Tia x

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 05/08/2014 23:17

I got the Asda Elsa dress for DDs 3rd birthday, she is in size 2-3 in most places. Ordered the 3-4 dress, it fits fine in the length, just sits a bit funny at the top (gapes a bit as you can see in the pic). She loves it though and hopefully as she grows it'll fit better. It really is a beautiful dress!

Our local Disney store had racks and racks of Elsa and Anna dresses today, so might be heading back into stores?

SpottyTeacakes · 06/08/2014 06:23

I'm going to New York in December so might will definitely go to the Disney store then and see what they've got Grin I'm a teeny bit excited!

Nix01 · 06/08/2014 07:58

I'm not sure of the quality of these, but I just saw both the Anna and Elsa dolls for sale at less than GBP7. They ship from HK.

LokiBear · 06/08/2014 08:24

Those dolls actually look nicer than the official Disney ones. DD was bought both the Disney ones for her birthday and the Elsa doll is a funny colour, it's a very pale blue - purple colour. DD doesn't like it because it doesn't look like Elsa Hmm

RosieBdy · 06/08/2014 08:28

questionsquestionsquestions Asda told me on twitter that they hope to get the Elsa dress back in stock during August... Fingers crossed! It's worth looking at around 7 am on their website as for the last week they've had low stock of the smaller sizes (unfortunately not the larger size that I want) for about half an hour then they're gone again... Hopefully more reliable than last time. I may just be addicted to that page! Good luck!

AllThatGlistens · 06/08/2014 08:32

Oh dear.. hadn't been on for a while, have spent the morning catching up and ordering allsorts from character pjs to nail glue and dinosaur eggs!

DH has been sent the Joules outlet link and has already ordered something, not that I gave him much choice Grin

Tis my spiritual home..

freedom2post · 06/08/2014 08:51

Questionsquestionsquestions - I got my 3.5yo an Asda Elsa dress age 5/6 and it was too long.

She would have got away with the fit itself but the length was ridiculous so I had to buy her 3-4.

And she doesn't wear 3-4 in any other clothes. She's normally a 4/5

Questionsquestionsquestions · 06/08/2014 09:22

Thanks all - that's helpful. Maybe I'll try getting up very early and see if I'm lucky...otherwise I will bite the bullet and pay ebay prices!

LokiBear · 06/08/2014 09:36

I've just bought a Christmas planner from Amazon. Ridiculously self indulgent I know. DH pointed out that a notepad would do just as well, but I wanted it!

MTWTFSS · 06/08/2014 09:49

Tesco clearance sale is RUBBISH except for:

Playmobil My First 1.2.3 Knight`s Castle for £15

freedom2post · 06/08/2014 09:52

questions - Bythe time I had returned the first dress, age 3/4 was out of stock so had to wait for them to come back in.

I finally got one the other week at 5.30am in the morning Shock . Dd3 woke for a feed and I was playing on my phone when I spotted them back in stock. By 6am they had sold out!
