JDB I only buy Crayola Twistables now. They do pencils and crayons and they do not break. Argos did an awesome offer a while back with mega pack reduced from £20 to £5 and supermarkets often do BOGOF so they work out really reasonable. Worth looking out for them IMO.

Ratbagcatbag · 09/07/2014 08:07

Marking place. Thomas the tank mega blocks from last thread was purchased yesterday for a birthday present next week. It looks excellent for £12.99.

Ratbagcatbag · 09/07/2014 08:09

Anyone spotted any branded boxer shorts on sale? (Calvin Klein, hollister etc) the brighter the better for teenager.

Barbeasty · 09/07/2014 08:22

Any bargains out there on games to entertain 7 adults?

KEGirlOnFire · 09/07/2014 08:46

Just out of interest, are there any 'food' type things that would be worth buying now ready for Xmas? I've bought some nice Pickles/Chutneys already. Got them from the 'Devon Chilli Farm' stand at the big cake show in Exeter back in March (or May - can't remember...). They should last... But can anyone recommend any other Xmas type treats I could buy now?

Always like to spread the cost out! Smile

JeanetteDanielsBenziger · 09/07/2014 09:17

Thanks Valium, will keep an eye out for them.

NorksEnormous · 09/07/2014 10:14

Marking place! This is a great thread, thank you to you all!

MildDrPepperAddiction · 09/07/2014 11:50

Does anyone know where I can get decent sized stockings? DS has a lovely one, normal length, but quite wide so you can fit books etc in. I'm looking for similar for the Dds but can't see any like it. They all seem quite narrow.

WildFlowersAttractBees · 09/07/2014 11:55

Glad they look good RATBAG, I am heading to collect mine now.

KEGirl, If you buy a Christmas pudding you often get them 70% off around now in Dobbies. Also drinks will keep Grin.

SpottyTeacakes · 09/07/2014 12:03

DrPepper mamas and papas do nice ones nearer Christmas

WildFlowersAttractBees · 09/07/2014 12:06

MildDrPepper, I struggled with the same thing so I ended up getting all the DC's THESE. I got the medium sized ones and the hold a decent hardback book plus stocking presents. This will be the 4th year of use and they look brand new.

MonoNoAware · 09/07/2014 12:27

I bought drink early last year. It didn't keep Blush

JustWannaDance · 09/07/2014 12:53

I really need a baby Annabell if anyone sees one cheap! Thanks

platespinnermum · 09/07/2014 13:19

WHSmith are doing their offer on Sharpie pens like they did last year - a pack of 24 is £6.99 with any other Back to School purchase. Obviously I bought them for a present and not for myself at all, oh no Grin

BeanyIsPregnant · 09/07/2014 13:19

Did anyone else buy one of the colour changing light up bath toys? I bought the dolphin and it's not here yet.. Anyone else had better luck? :/

nickdrakeslovechild · 09/07/2014 13:24

Hi Beany I did and its not here yet. Got a few things I am waiting for!

KEGirlOnFire · 09/07/2014 13:38

Ahhh of course drink!! Stupid me, should have thought of that...

Also if anyone sees a decent 'dolls pram' on special offer, that would be great.

DD has just turned 5 and still loves her dolls. But all her pushchairs are now too small for her. She's a tiny 5 (only 98cms tall) but I just think she needs a decent pushchair or pram now that's going to last her... Thanks

BeanyIsPregnant · 09/07/2014 13:43

nick glad it's not only me who's still waiting..

good job we ordered them now, they might actually make it here in time for Christmas!

BumpKitty · 09/07/2014 13:53

Native American Playmobil set is £13.38 on amazon here seems a good price

SisterMoonshine · 09/07/2014 14:25

I was happy with the little birdhouse key fob thing too. I was starting to think it wasn't going to come. The card box it came in is sweet.

Grin mk2 finger lights.

Think I'll get a colour in castle for a birthday party activity.

MildDrPepperAddiction · 09/07/2014 14:40

Thanks Spotty and WildFlowers!
