My youngest wants that sausage dog thing that poo's play dough and the cow udder thing that squirts something out of it.

My eldest wanted some or other Gru slime gun.

Luckily they haven't seen the ads again so have stopped nagging can you imagine the mess those would make of the carpets?

Not necessarily 'awful' but I am dreading the roller skates! Both girls only asked santa for roller skates so we have bought them. I'm not so worried about number 2, number 1's sense of balance is not that good though & she's a bit like a very heavy footed elephant sometimes Confused I'm having visions of cuts, bruises and scrapes!

Nix01 · 15/12/2013 21:14

Bless, how old are they? My eldest got a pair last year (6yo) and he's still not tried them outside, he cruises around inside on the carpets and if he's feeling brave on the tiles in the kitchen whilst hanging onto the cupboards!

$ year old DS wants that robot dog, Textra or some such. It's had TERRIBLE reviews but he will not stop going on about it, so I've bought it for him £60 worth of crap that will probably get played with once.

FrazzleRock · 15/12/2013 21:17

*4 year old, not $ year old

lucysmam · 15/12/2013 21:19

Nearly four and nearly seven. We'll take them out for a 'walk' Christmas afternoon on them I think (now the awful neighbours have gone our street is now peaceful again), dp is in charge of teaching them though. I even bought the Elf mail sacks from Poundland to put them into so they know they came from Santa Grin

Nix01 · 15/12/2013 21:26

Oh yes, my 3 year old wanted that robot dog. I haven't bought it. I do hope your son loves it.

Furbies! They were a nightmare it get hold of, expensive and I feel may drive me nuts.

Nix01 · 15/12/2013 21:28

Our kids are the same age :) I'm sure your girls will have lots of fun.

Doggie Doo - Grandma was horrified when I told her the honour of buying that particular piece of tat had fallen to her!

Bakerof3pudsxx · 15/12/2013 21:32

Don't buy doggie doo

It is exactly that

All the poo gets stuck inside the dog

AngryFeet · 15/12/2013 21:37

Furbies.

I know they are going to annoy the shit out of me but they really really wanted them.

youbethemummylion · 15/12/2013 21:37

Agh too late but thats what I thought would happen. Granny will get the pleasure of watching his face when he opens it and we will just have to deal with the inevitable Doggy Doo playdoh malfunction later when shes not there.

youbethemummylion · 15/12/2013 21:39

I dont know if it will work with the new furbies but my mum used to put mine in the wardrobe when I was out and that shuts them up apparently.

So Christmas this year... We have the doggy poo game. We have the gooey nose game. We have the dreaded Tecsta thing that nobody will have patience for and will probably be broken by Boxing Day.. We have lots of plastic Peppa Pig "stuff" which sil will hate as her children only play with wooden toys (sigh). We have the "Ugglyz" puppet which burps and farts and both boys will find hilarious. They will obviously love them all. Do at least a few hours. Grin

TapDancingPimp · 15/12/2013 22:27

Pumpalloons Hmm

Will keep her (DD4) entertained for all of 10 mins if the ad is anything to go by, but it's all she's asked for!

MilkOneSugar · 15/12/2013 22:34

I bought DD1 doggie doo for her 4th birthday. I we all love it! If the poo gets stuck, just make the pieces bigger. I hadn't realised that it would make a noise when passing through so the first time we played we were in silent hysterics. I have some lovely video footage of DD2 laughing her head off when the poo plops out.

My girls have both requested roller skates too although DD2 is getting those baby quad things that fit over shoes. I've also purchased all the safety fear to go with it.

Can't think of anything hideous this year but one year DD1 wanted that princess magic oven courtesy of the adverts. It got terrible reviews but she really wanted it. Biggest waste of money ever Sad.

whatsonyourplate · 15/12/2013 23:38

My ds also wanted the cow udder game. He's not getting it.

Nix01 · 16/12/2013 08:02

There must have been a fur by advert lately as my eldest now wants one! I found a soft toy version, he doesn't know it talks does he?

We have gooey louie and the cow game (silly moo)
But I have drawn the line at doggie doo after ds played it at a friend's house and the 'doo' went everywhere. It turns out it doesn't wash out of hair very easily. Or clothes.

TeamSwitzerland · 16/12/2013 08:42

Doggie doo!!! Smile

thegreylady · 16/12/2013 08:55

My dgs wants a remote control Christmas tree that walks and sings! It doesn't exist as far as we know but imagine the horror of it lurching round the house flashing and singing Rudolph.

NowBringUsSomeFuzzpiggyPudding · 16/12/2013 09:00

"Silver sparkly shoes with heels" (Hmm) from my 6yo DD. Her friend has some apparently. I have found some that aren't too high so was happy(ish) to get them
