It has stuffing in it.

No such thing as too much stuffing in my book but depends on your preference

I'm doing separate plain stuffing balls as the stuffing in the M&S crown I got for the last two years was quite flavoured. Half the family loved it but the others prefer stuffing balls.

You're right you can never have too much stuffing and the plate would look kind of bare without, just not right.

For aesthetic reasons alone I'll get some.

Different flavour though.

Love that...I'm going to use 'for aesthetic reasons' for all my Christmas scoffing.

Got to have stuffing balls. The stuffings in chickens etc is usually too strong flavoured for me and has sausage meat, I prefer plain old sage and onion Wink

I think stuffing in meat is too soft I like the crunchier texture of stuffing balls. Mil fries her stuffing in a pan and it is amazing- crunchy and yummy. Adds a great texture to a roast.

The reason behind a lot of stuffing being too highly flavoured is that they use dried herbs which are a lot more intense than fresh ones, and there tends to be too much salt and pepper.

I always make my own now, and cook it separately.
