12 yr old girls - good skincare products / body spray. Advice please!

DD asked for skincare stuff - but she has great skin that hasn't reached the teenage stage yet and I don't want to cause problems. Can anyone recommend good products - am thinking bodyshop, simple, neutrogena - or what have your DDs found best? Clarins etc bit too dear. Looking for things that won't block pores, really dry/irritate skin. Plus maybe something mild to have on standby for first spots?

Also, best affordable, not-too-strong body spray suggestions appropriate for her age?

DD was sent some of this recently and really likes it. It is quite expensive, but she doesn't need lots of it Green People

Is £15 too much? Hollister has really lovely body sprays for young girls - light and subtle gorgeous scents. That's what my niece is getting!

I got dn aged 12 some girl lynx and shower gel from Superdrug for £3.

I haven't ever bought anything from Lush, but i would hope that as the products are 'natural' they would be suitable for Tweens.

My DDs (14 & 16) like the Soap & Glory body sprays. They're quite light and floral/fruity.

My similar aged DD & her friends all LOVE Lush & my DD has very sensitive skin & she has never reacted to any of it, even though she can't use normal soaps etc. there's so much choice, but she particularly loves - blue skies bubble bar, big blue bath bombs, karma or ginger body spray, honey I washed the kids soaps -

but her friends like different more floral ones & DD is happy to get anything from there - they do some lovely gift sets this time of year, so I don't think you can go far with any of it

thanks - some good suggestions. A day of sniffing and rubbing lotions awaits!
Thoughts on bodyshop skincare ranges? Is the tea tree stuff very drying?

I personally hate body shop, the smell makes me feel ill & I don't believe it's as natural as its made out to be - DD has been given gifts from there over the years & her skin has reacted badly to what she has tied to use.

My DD is 11.6 and uses those wipes (Superdrug) to cleanse (she doesn't wear make-up)

She has a pot of very light moisturiser (I got a collagen gel cleanser/gel/moisturiser set and she poached it)

She loves the bath/shower smellies from Superdrugs that are similar shaped bottles to Philosophy (I do buy her Philosophy if they have special ofers on)

Neutropenia do some good teen stuff.
One of the best things my mum ever did for me once I started experimenting with make up etc was to instill a skin are routine into me. It's not overboard, but at 25, my skin is starting to thank me for the last 10-13 years of looking after it I think!
With regards to body sprays- do you mean to use instead I perfume to smell nice? Or instead of anti-perspirant?
If she's starting to whiff, you can get some good gentle anti-perspirants rather than just covering up the smell with spray, or if that's sorted then I'd say start with one or two of the impulse ones. Bit of experimenting until she finds something. Be prepared to stand outside Lush though while she browses.... Gosh that shop smells strong enough to give you a headache!
