Any ideas for small present for 15 year old boy?

I've a budget of about £10-15 for a present for a 15 year old boy. I've no idea what he likes - his mum usually gives me an idea but they haven't come back to me this year. All ideas welcomed!! Thanks.

Tshirt from Qwetee.
Voucher
Hat
Massive toblerone.

I've given him a hat, wallet and iTunes voucher over last 3 years - a cinema voucher might be good though! No idea what kind of t shirt would be deemed acceptable unfortunately!

Do you know if he has a game console? A voucher for a game could be good if so, or a voucher towards online membership?

He has a ps vita - I will look into a voucher towards a game for that.

I'd be inclined to go for a voucher for a nearby high street store - Tesco, Waterstones, WH Smith or dare I say it Amazon. However in my personal view if I was struggling to think of something because I didn't know what the recipient was interested in and his mum hadn't given me any steer after being asked, I'd be tempted to ask myself why I was still buying a gift for this person. I've moved away from my home town quite a few years ago now and when old friends and I reached the stage of exchanging vouchers I asked what the point was. One person was offended I know, but at least 2 said to me , 'thank goodness someone has said it's ridiculous'. With another person I buy my DCs a gift labelled from her and she buys her DCs a gift labelled from me. V long sorry but hope it helps...

My nephew is a similar age, my sister told me to get him aftershave as he is just starting to experiment with things like that. For his birthday I got him an sas survival book which he loved and read exerts out to everyone for weeks on end.

I agree with you about not buying any more but this is a family member that I only see once a year. A step nephew. Not buying isn't an option until he is 18!

After shave is a good idea, but such a personal thing surely? Tricky to know which suits them and which is cool!

Family is v difficult Biscuit. In that case a voucher and some good ideas on here, eg. cinema voucher and also aftershave.

I just got a cheapish one that smelt nice, he will just like feeling grown up I think.

bodiddly · 30/11/2013 22:15

Will look at after shave - I could use my boots points.

I've just seen Boots have a selection box of 5 mini after shaves like Bench, Ted Baker etc for £15 so think I will go with that.
