Bolognese. Curries. Lasagne.

Sorry, just realised this is the Christmas thread. I thought you meant generally. Blush

Stuffing is one of the few things that is fine in advance. You could assemble your pigs in blankets and freeze raw. I don't think the veg will work, but you can do prep on christmas eve to spread the workload a bit.

If you make your own christmas pudding, you want to be doing it now anyway. If you are doing brandy butter,I would have thought that would freeze well.

Is it just christmas dinner, or are you thinking of other stuff?

Can you simplify your offering? Most people make far too much food anyway, but I like to make loads and then we can just graze on leftovers for the next 2/3 days with no cooking (we both really like roast dinners and variations on cold meat/cheese/pickle). But what I do is only really a slightly elaborate roast dinner so its not a huge amount of extra work anyway and I use frozen cauliflower for the cauliflower cheese.

Gin I also like to have a few days worth and don't want to be tied to the kitchen too much Will do the stuffing and pigs in blankets too.

Red cabbage tastes better is made in advance. Freezes brilliantly.
