Wobbly scissors x 4 different pairs
big pad coloured paper
glitter glues x2 lots
stamp set x2lots
pad of coloured paper to share
pad of plain white paper to share
metallic sparkly pens x2 lots
pack of glue sticks to share

possibly a few packs of pompoms/feathers/stickers split into zip-lock type bags between 2

This is what I've collected together for my two dd's to start a new craft box because a lot of it was scratty and horrible. Things there are two lots of, I was going to wrap individually

Any thoughts (my girls are nearly four and nearly seven btw, if that makes a difference)Smile

I would add celotape, masking tape and goggly eyes I think but it sounds ace!

pipecleaners
old-style clothes pegs & cotton reels.
Decent storage for all of the above so that it stays fairly organized!

Paper plates and doilies!

PavlovtheCat · 29/11/2013 13:53

lovely. I would also add googly eyes Grin and perhaps some stickers, stars or sequins that can be glued on.

excellent ideas, will have a trip to town next week for googly eyes, pipe cleaners, pegs and some other bits and bobs Grin

oh, and I have storage already, one of those boxes with poppers on the side that are about six quid in the works is hiding away for it to go in wrapped and then I'm going to wrap that too! Grin

Sounds great! You could add a pack of card blanks/envelopes with some 'thank you' stickers/stamper and a small setection of pretty scrapbooking paper/block so they have a ready made project to start on!

A lovely thing to add is a pile of little photocopied photos of them. What nan/gran can resist a home made thank you card if it has a picture of them on it. Grin

Lots of places have stickers you could add, themed around family interests/pets/letters.

Old buttons are great if you have included strong enough glue.

Bits of ribbon. Or bright fabric.

Also have available (just for when you are with them) double sised tape and split pins/brads to attach heavier card and collected items.

*double sided

And glitter shapes!

yegods cards and photos are a fab idea, I have lots of photos sat in a drawer that are a bit grainy looking (if you get me Confused ) but would do for cut and stick and am fairly sure I saw cards in Poundland earlier.

I'll have a rummage in my own (much neater) craft bits later and see what fabric/buttons are lurking although I don't have a button tin...maybe we ought to start one
