Can I still put up a tree if one of it's legs is missing?

What the title says, really.

I have a lovely tree for my house, so was going to bring an old 5 foot one into the office to force some Christmas Cheer upon my workmates. Except my office tree only has 3 out of its 4 feet. I've moved house since last using it, so finding the missing foot is pretty much out of the question.

Anyone any ingenious hacks for getting a foot-less Christmas tree to stand up? Can I MacGuyver something out of some spare 2x4s?

im sur eyou could buy spares on ebay or ones that you put the trunk on to and tighten?

I'll have a look on ebay, although I do worry I'll get the wrong shape/size and end up with a random spare foot!

I do have a stand for a real tree, but the screws don't come in enough to grip on the pole at the bottom of the tree, and it easily slips to one side or another - if I can figure out a secure way of padding it out that might be an option...

We had this last year, gaffer-taped a plank of wood to the missing side. Not to best look but not wobbly!

Not the best look

I do have a tree skirt thingy I could put over anything a little unpretty. Might explore the gaffer tape and wood solution; can't really lose unless I manage to make it more unsteady than it already is. Thanks!
