I am in doubt.

Tree number 1 is cheaper and I think would look lovely with lights and the presents underneath.

Tree number 2 is more traditional and expensive and will look nice with decor too.

Have you also looked into alternative Christmas trees like laloleblog.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/mi-arbol-de-navidad.html?m=1.

Hangs on wall so zero floor space needed til gifts are put under it. I'd love something like it esp if using driftwood as we live near the sea.

I'd choose number 2 from those 2. We've got this one from JL the other week and it's similar to the ones you've linked so thought you might like it.
