Mandm is worth trawling through as lots of oddities have 20% off on top of reduction. My mums slippers were £27 because the blue were reduced all the others were £35. Cheapest I've seen them reduced to elsewhere was £55.

Why are empty tins so expensive? Finally got the telegraph seeds and wanted to give them in a tin but they are around a tenner. Can get one full of biscuits for a fiver! But I don't really want it to be a biscuit tin.

I didn't sign up for the sun offer. I decided that was a step too far. Already sold out getting the free Lego for stockings earlier this year Blush.

Thanks to everyone; I have been lurking on this thread and have become addicted. Because of the thread I had a look at Amazon Black Friday and just got a Nintendo 3DS for £99, the best price I have seen. My DS has wanted it for ages but I may have to save it for his birthday as I have more than enough Christmas stuff for him already!

EduCated here's what I'm doing in my crackers this year: pen, little pack of christmassy tissues, molton brown sample bottle (from an order I placed a while ago), head torch (got from ebay for less than £3), the wooden watch bracelet (from amazon, link on OP list, for my toddler DD. The watch doesn't actually work!), christmas tree chocolates, nail varnish, bracelet (bought in the Laura Ashley sale with 30% off on top), olive oil mini sample bottle from the fazzolari (or whatever it's called) free food box, little animal soaps I got in a gift box from body shop, christmas tea light holder. Can't remember who was asking about extra zhu zhu hamsters to go with the tesco set but the entertainer have them in store for £2. Their website says out of stock so it is in store only.
Seeing as I bought an extra tesco set just because it was such a bargain, have now bought extra hamsters so I can split it up and donate to a local shelter. So now I can spread the MN bargain love

reastie if it's cheesey/jokey/really tasteless you're after....

How about this nose shower gel dispenser? It's only £3.59 so I suspect that it's coming from china but there are other suppliers on amazon and I'd guess eBay too so you might find one that ships from the uk that is faster...
