Board game for a 9 year old who likes gues who type games?

I'm trying to get dd1 to spend less time on the pc so last night we got guess who out of the cupboard (bought last Christmas but hardly played with), she enjoyed playing it and has asked for another game for Christmas that we can play together. She has Aspergers and does not really like long games (so no monopoly), she prefers games that are short but you can play over and over. Also it would be great if dd2 can play too, she has ASD and just about understands guess who with a little help, again her attention span is not that great so needs to be easy(ish).

I haven't played it so can't personally recommend it but I'm thinking of getting Panic Lab - it seems you use the dice to determine which features you look for, so slightly guess whoish in a way?

Cluedo?

Pictureka has been a big success in our house and is played over and over again. It's a little like hide and seek with pictures but because the boards are double sided you never know where things are, it also doesn't take too long to play.

We rediscovered Jenga on holiday last year. The whole family spent a rainy afternoon playing, it was great fun. I also have fond memories of Battleships and Downfall and plan to get one of those as a joint present for my DDs this year. It's lovely to play all together rather than all of us in our gadgets.

Our favourite game at the moment is monopoly deal, it's on the basis of monopoly but a card game and each game only lasts about 10 mins, it's really easy to pick up and very good fun to play, especially if you can be a bit ruthless, my 9 year old is excellent at it and the games are short enough to play a number of games in a row.

Does Cluedo not go on a bit? ( used to play it as a child but can't quite remember ). I love Jenga , one of my favourite games as is connect 4.

I love cluedo but it might be a bit long for them. You could possibly speed it up by using more dice (sure I read that on mn :o) but also might be frustrating if they don't 'get' the strategy detectivey element quickly

Oh and a game I absolutely love is Doodle Dice. That might be good if they are quite visual, good with patterns etc. It is hard to get hold of though.

Junior Monopoly is great. Very basic and pretty short too.

Uno is another favourite of DDs. The one with the tower that shoots the cards out is more fun.

There are a couple of guess who games. We got Guess Who extra last year are DD had enjoyed the original so much.

Labyrinth by Ravensburger is a fun game.

Don't know if you have this in England but Hedbanz is a great guessing type game.

Dobble is straighforward and quite fun. Also good for travelling as very compact.
