Going to Costco tomorrow-what should I look out for?

Very exciting, going to Costco as a guest tomorrow, likely to be the only visit... So I'd like to get some tips for what to look out for Wink
I don't have any DCs (yet) and I don't plan any major purchases, but certainly things for the festive period that are particularly good are what I'd like to hear about. Much obliged!

I can easily lose three hours in Costco ('tis like a time and space black hole )

The Kirkland own brand is pretty good .

how did you get on forcookssake ?

anything nice?
would you be inspired to go back?

Ooh I had a great time! Got the box of beautiful glass baubles (olive green and brown colours), the chocolate truffles mentioned up thread and a mega twelve carton pack of soy milk Grin
We made it round within the lunch hour, but I saw loads of sections that'd merit further exploration...so now I'm seriously considering my own membership Wink

I went today - and spent £190...

Bought meat, sausages, fish, toilet rolls, kitchen rolls, water, eggs, cetaphil cleanser and moisturiser, toothpaste,

ermmmmm

rotisserie chicken which we had for dinner this evening.

pens for son for school. yogurt, cheese, coffee, bread, gin (Bombay sapphire, 1 lite - I think was about £17? )

and more.

I went with my mum, who bought me a new handbag for xmas - I have to try and forget what it looks like now. Grin

Washing powder is excellent, the loo rolls are fab, as are the kitchen rolls.

oh, and the big cakes are brilliant.

About £8 for a massive chocolate fudge cake - carrot cake is my fave though :)

enjoy!

VAT is payable on non food items. both prices are on the display label. trade members do pay the vat - I guess they then can claim back whatever they sell? I am a trade member, but not in the buy and sell business. we shop at Costco for personal shopping.
