I need a halal turkey.....help!

We have a Muslim guest at Christmas, who will be enjoying Christmas with us, and I'd like to get a halal turkey.

Anyone have any knowledge of where I can get one?
I know I can approach halal butchers and will do if I need to, but if anyone knows of any specific sources that would be great.
I also know I can get halal chicken, but I'd like to try to get turkey.

Sorry to join this late, just seen the thread. You can get great organic halal meat from Willowbrook Farm near Oxford. You can order online (willowbrookorganic.org) and they deliver. They are taking orders for Christmas turkeys now.

Kosher food is acceptable for muslims and is considered the same as halal, so any Muslim who has a problem eating kosher needs to get his/her head examined. The main thing is taking gods name at sacrifice, which Jews also do, we worship the same god, if a Christian praised god at sacrifice in english it is technically also halal and I would eat it, since they are also people of the book. Surprising how many people follow rules without understanding the reason for these rules. Gods creatures, we have to be grateful for the sacrifice, doesnt matter what language you pray/praise in, it's the concept that matters.

Also, do you know how strict they are? Muslim friends of mine happily eat bacon and drink loads of wine, your friends might be the same.

What type of stuffing will you do? Just don't do what my office dud one year and serve the veggie chrustmasunch with pork and chestnut stuffing! Gravy too. Booze in the Christmas pudding?
