I don't actually know why DD is suddenly obsessed with onesies, but on the few recent occasions we've been in clothes shops she's pointed them out and hopped up and down excitedly Hmm

Where does nice ones? Preferably not fleece as they get too hot.

She would really like a Totoro one but they seem to only be for adults.

DD has a nice moshi one from M&S

LegaaaahhhhAutopsy · 21/10/2013 20:24

If she is wearing it for bed don't get one with a hood as is a choking risk.

H&M do nice ones as does M&S

Sparklysilversequins · 21/10/2013 20:24

Asda and Primark.

PoppyScarer · 21/10/2013 20:25

I've bought 5yo DD a couple from M&S and Primark. The Primark ones haven't washed well!

busylizzie76 · 21/10/2013 20:28

My dd has the m&s moshi one and also some pretty ones from Sainsburys....2 pack of floral ones.

Thesebootsweremadeforwalking · 21/10/2013 20:29

I've just bought DS two from Mothercare (pyjamas type, no hoods).

wonderingsoul · 21/10/2013 20:29

i got one for ds 7 its like a tracksuit onsie.. actually really suit him and its washed up really well,

though i agree the fluffy pjs dont.

WhoKnowsWhereTheSlimeGoes · 21/10/2013 20:30

Peacocks had some nice ones last winter, haven't looked this year.

Yama · 21/10/2013 20:32

My almost 8 year old dd wants one. It really is the most ridiculous request since she hates being hot and our house is like a furnace.

Anyway, I found a lightweight one on Amazon. What's the betting she only wears it once?

29chapel · 21/10/2013 20:34

M&S ones are great - bought a panda for my daughter and a tiger for my friends little boy.

bananananacoconuts · 21/10/2013 20:42

Dd and ds get ted baker ones from debenhams. Beautiful and still great a year on.
John lewis also has lovely ones

soontobeslendergirl · 21/10/2013 21:50

DD2 had a next one last christmas that she wears a lot, thinish PJ style. DD1 has a fleece one that comes out only on cold evenings and not for bed as her bunk is hot.

MrsFlintLockwood · 22/10/2013 09:24

Wow that's great thanks for all the suggestions :)

Dont get one with feet as they get filthy. Also a pain if you step in a spillage. Better to team up with slipper socks. I prefer the cotton ones to the fleece ones for my boys. Less sweaty if they do wear them to bed. For lounging and camping the fleece ones are great though.

WaitMonkey · 22/10/2013 11:51

Don't get one with feet, one with a hood or a fleece one. We've a few from M&S and they have washed really well and are in lovely designs.

NoComet · 22/10/2013 11:53

Yes DD1 say feet are a pain they get too hot and risk getting wet on kitchen/bathroom floors.

She'd rather no feet and slipper socks/crocks dependent on when someone last had a shower.

sadmum1000 · 22/10/2013 23:09

Watching with interest as DD6 and DS9 desperate for one. I agree about no feet but curious as to why not fleece? That's what they both have requested. Saw some in tesco that said not suitable for sleeping in which confused me more.
We live in a COLD house. Currently all sleep with fleece pj's, duvets and 2 fleece blankets and it's only October. Oh and socks too. dreading winter.

WaitMonkey · 22/10/2013 23:20

Fleece is just way to hot to sleep in for most people.
