Imaginext castle or wooden castle for 5 1/2 year old?

DS has seen the imaginext castle on an advert somewhere but I had already been thinking of getting him a wooden castle.

Any thoughts on which is best for that age?

We have a Schleich one. It can be set up into any number of combinations and it's sturdy and indestructible!

We have the imaginext castle and DD (3) and DS (6) both love it and play with it loads. Any visiting children between 3 and 9 invariably play with it too. We also have an Imaginext boat (not the current model) which we got 3 years ago and that gets loads of play from my DC and visiting ones. I rate Imaginext very highly, great toys and very hard-wearing.
