My DD2 will be 2 on 22 Dec. I know what to get for her birthday but I'm struggling for Christmas. So ideas gratefully received Smile

DD will be 22 months at Christmas. She is having Duplo, and Aquadoodle, a tractor sit and ride, and lots of books. Possibly also some kind off small train set. I am very excited already!

I often wonder how people manage when they have several DD's or DS's as I struggle with having one of each what to buy, as my DS has a lot of things that I would have prob brought my DD!

My DD was 2 last Christmas and we bought her;

Happyland tree house
Happyland toadstool house
Happyland castle
Various happyland families and animals.
A playhouse (for outdoors really but lived in her playroom until summer)
An easel
Art stuff
Peppa pig soft toys & books
Ben & holly soft toys and books

Good call OP! Wilkos have some great and cheap food sets on their website which I am adding in, too, incase that helps.

MA I brought some food stuffs with basket in Asda. They have a 2 for £10 sale on so got food stuffs and a talking peppa.

Will get Saucepans and the fruit & veg in Ikea tho. :)

Queen you might be better off buying wooden fruit and veg sets. We have the Ikea stuff and DS just doesn't seem very interested in it. There is nothing wrong with it, it just doesn't attract his interest, whereas I think wooden stuff would. What he would really like though is every pot, pan and cooking implement from Daddy's kitchen and the proper expensive pan set in Costco

QueenofClean · 24/09/2013 09:33

Patches Will keep that in mind thanks :)

I would say Sylvanian Families are too small. Not the figures themselves but the little tiny annoyingly painful when you stand on them bits that go with them

DD is also getting ds' s old balance bike.

My dd will be 20 months. Have got her the IKEA kitchen and accessories, though was a bit disappointed when I saw the salmon food set, which is smaller than it looked on the internet. Will also get her some colouring stuff, as she loves her scribbling, and a book - probably In the Night Garden themed as she loves the ones of these she already has (I don't!). And maybe a few chocolate Freddos!

neontetra · 25/09/2013 20:21

Oh, and MIL plans to get her a tea set and a little table and chairs to sit at, which I think she will love!

My dd is two in December. We've got the ikea kitchen for her birthday plus pots/pans etc
For Xmas I'm getting her a till, PJs and will try and track down a post box or something. She likes posting things!

My DD will be almost two and she's getting a playkitchen, playfood & a stocking.
