Super suggestions for age appropriate Children's Christmas presents thread!!!

Have children and don't know what to buy them that would be age appropriate... then step this way, tell us how old your children are, and we shall give you suggestions

I'll begin... I'll have a 14mo DS2. I'm looking for a fun disposable gift. For his 1st birthday in October I'm buying him a box of helium balloons, so what can I get him for Xmas?!? At the moment he loves Mickey Mouse and Waybaloo.

Look at reastie's Christmas threads. This year they are already up to the third thread, full of lots of great suggestions and even better - bargains - for all ages.

It's worth looking back through the second thread as it's only just finished and there were some great things for little ones, including a cute interactive robot that would be fab for your ds that was £14 instead of £40.

And although you'll have missed some of the bargains on the first thread it too has some great ideas on!

My ds is 20 months and we got him a set of wooden blocks at the start of the summer (when he was about 17 months), just small cheap ones from the pound shop and he absolutely loves them. He has played with them a good few times a day, every day since we got them. He stacks them, puts them back into their little box, loads them into the trailer of his tractor. Loads of fun, for literally a couple of quid.
