Hi all, really hoping for some inspiration here! I know its only April but Im trying to be organised for once and spread the cost.

My daughter will be a year old at Christmas, any ideas for stocking fillers?

I also have a teenage brother, 3 year old niece, 5 year old and 9 year old nephews, I would like to do miniature but good stockings for them.

ANY suggestions welcome!

Look at the toy stall thingy in Marks n Sparks.
They have all sorts of bits n bobs.

In Primark today they had lots of Peppa Pig bits. I picked up Peppa hairclips(£1.50), Peppa necklace set (£2.00) and bracelet set (£1.50)along with a cute little handbag (£2.00). All going to be put away for my LO stocking. She loves peppa so she will be so happy.

Something you want, something you need, something to eat and something to read.

That's what our stockings always had!!

At 1, I'd keep it to just a couple of pieces of fruit and maybe a small bag sweets and small bar Cadburys or similar.

Need - like a nice toothbrush, socks, hair bobbins, ....
(As DD was due on Christmas Day, I had a small tub sudocreme, nice Christmas Bib, and a small furry animal toy just in case she arrived on time for a stocking!!!!!!!!!).

Always always had a book!! (And any "kids" at home on Christmas Eve in my parents still get their book, fruit and sweets!!).

Want - things like crayons and a nice colouring book or even a few free printables rolled up, small toy, sheet of stickers? (or too small yet?), a small ball, stuffed animal....

Maybe a decoration for the tree - especially if you would like an heirloom one either for her first Christmas or especially if you'd like to get her one every year that she can have for her own tree when she leaves home. Doesn't necessarily have to be £££, but something different and personalised could be really special.

My children are older, but mostly get stuff they need from FC: new vests, pants, socks, outfits etc.

They also get things they're not normally allowed like bubblegum and chocolate cereal. The fact that FC brings DD bubble gum when mum disapproves of it absolutely convinces her FC is real Grin.

Then the girls ask FC for three things in their letters. Usually one decent present and the rest are little things.

And usually I throw in a few things I think they'd like - a DVD, book, game etc.

The girls have sacks, so get a lot, but most things are less than £5.

when DS2 was 1 we bought a big net bag of plastic fruit and wrapped up individually and he loved opening them.
