Do you get nursery staff a Christmas present?

Dd goes to nursery two days a week. She loves it. All the staff are great and she has no favourite - her key worker has changed around a bit so not especially close to anyone. It's very multicultural though the do a non nativity Christmas play. I think at least half the staff are south east European Muslims eg Albanians and Kosovan.

What is Christmas present etiquette? Can I just take a big box of chocs for all staff to share and one seasons greetings card addressed to everyone? There's a parents afternoon and play the week before it closes for Christmas so I could take them then so they have a week to share chocs on break or distribute them all if they get lots.

They will get tons of stuff for christmas!! I wouldn't stress about it. A tin to share is fine. Personally I always make something - shortbread or truffles (very easy) and just give a few each. There are a lot of nursery staff though - and you're only two days a week so I would go with a shared option Smile

Was just wondering this myself. Have no idea how many staff are in the nursery so was going to go with a big box of chocolates or ask glt numbers and do wine or something but am really clueless!
