If anyone sees any good offers on Duplo, could you post? DD has promoted it up her lsit from things she wants to things she really, really wants. All her presents are bought except one, so not much of a budget.

spookysal · 01/12/2012 14:07

I know this is a daft question but are the slippers on Debenhams sold in ages or shoe size. Is a 3-4 shoe size or age?

OhCobblers · 01/12/2012 14:43

Anyone else having problems with the Gruffalo slippers on the debenhams website? I can add other slippers to my "basket" but not those and the size I want is in stock too? Confused

Prizepudding · 01/12/2012 14:44

Picked up a moshi advent calendar for a more reasonable price of £9.99 in toys r us today, the kids were delighted.

Procrastinating · 01/12/2012 14:46

I'm assuming it is shoe size spooky.
Can't find anything in the sizing guide that says otherwise.

Piemistress · 01/12/2012 14:57

Gruffalo slippers not adding to my basket either! :(

Any stocking filler ideas for 6 month old DD and 3 yr old DS? We are moving house tomorrow and it's completely slipped my mind that still have to do this!

sunnyshine · 01/12/2012 16:54

I can't get PANDP265 to work on book people. Does and anyone have another free delivery code please?

LinzerTorte · 01/12/2012 17:39

sunnyshine XMAS266 gives free delivery at the Book People, but only if it's your first order - sadly I've already ordered far too much from there so can't use it!

spookysal · 01/12/2012 19:31

Thanks Procrastinating Smile

louiespence · 01/12/2012 21:16

Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread! Have so many amazing bargains because of you all!

Thanks
pantshavenames · 01/12/2012 21:25

I used the body shop codes to get animal soaps and nice bubble baths for stockings. No sale offers sadly but I got nice sweets from www.cybercandy as well (poss not for 6 month old even with blw)

rhondajean · 01/12/2012 22:14

Very happy, my glamour magazine goody bag arrived today, with an apology letter saying they had run out of the original gift and hoped this replacement was okay.

It'd a nice quality small paper glamour bag with inside, three Percy and Reid hair care products and four balance me skin care products. They are not full size (about half/two thirds size of the ones you buy when I checked online) but for £3 and with three magazines still to come I'm over the moon!

They are for ME.

TheSteveMilliband · 01/12/2012 23:32

Peppapigworld online store has £15 off code and free delivery over £25, though all the peppy stuff I've seen seems to be overpriced anyway.

TheSteveMilliband · 01/12/2012 23:35

shop.peppapigworld.co.uk/
.....and code might help! It is GIFTIDEA
And thanks for the thread, off to look for gruffalo slippers Smile

ChristmasSALutations · 01/12/2012 23:47

Has anyone seen any good deals on storage boxes - random I know.

I am putting together a dressing up box, I have the costumes but nothing to store them in.

Never realised hoe expensive empty boxes were!

It doesn't have to be anything fancy. I just need it big enough to hold everything and not dangerous for little fingers.

timeforachangebaby · 01/12/2012 23:50

TK Maxx for boxes.

timeforachangebaby · 01/12/2012 23:51

or the range, I have great under bed storage one which were £10 for 2.

zipzap · 01/12/2012 23:53

Poundstretcher and big out of town supermarkets like tesco, asda and sainsburys often have big plastic storage boxes relatively cheaply...

zipzap · 02/12/2012 01:12

if anyone is planning on doing photo books as christmas presents, I've just spotted that snapfish is giving 50% off all photobooks.

promo.snapfish.co.uk/christmas2/deal2/otsc=IAD/otsi=sfuk_deal2_$trkCode$/?cobrand=snapfishuk&cc=en_gb

Tescophoto is doing buy one get one free but it's for identical photobooks so no use if you just want one copy of something!

iloveholidays · 02/12/2012 06:18

Vtech mobiGo 2 half price on amazon to £29.99. Pink one here...

whoneedstosleep · 02/12/2012 09:15

FESTIVE1 for 25% off Molton Brown

zipzap · 02/12/2012 09:51

Another moulton brown one, thanks to the telegraph...

£10 off a £20 spend at moultonbrown.co.uk using the code DAILY10

There was also a voucher in yesterday's paper to use in a MB shop butbit late to get it now if you don't already have the paper!

Today the Sunday telegraph has another save £5 on your shopping at lidl voucher and then they also have an ad saying you can save £200 on your Xmas shopping but no clues how. Last year they had some free £5 vouchers for the body shop, no minimum spend so hopefully there will be some vouchers that are useful. Worth checking the top of the paper if you spot it anyhow! Looks like there might also be a 20% off the White stuff shop(?)

Anyhow - worth looking at the moneysavingexpert site - there's a page where somebody summarises the offers in the papers. Sorry on phone so can't link but lots of papers have some good deals at the moment!

PersuedByPenguins · 02/12/2012 10:24

Mini Kobo reader £10 off in whsmith today only (now £49.99)

I'm almost done, don't think I have paid full price for anything thanks to this thread! Thanks

Last few things to get...any ideas?
.
I need a 'top up' present for 18yo niece (probably only a fiver)

Present for FIL about £20 probably & 1 for his b'day too....

Something little for granny in law (95 and in a home so not much room for 'stuff')

Token prezzie for bil&sil- I prefer to get them one between them.

Hey that's not a bad list (length wise) but they are unfortunately the difficult ones!
