Boots, £15 off if you spend £100, also cash back with Quidco and free delivery.

So I have bought the mansion, 3 extra furniture sets and spent £95, got 3.5% cash back and £7.52 extra points, which I am now going to use to get some more furniture for the house.

This is DDs next years Christmas Present!!! DH wont be happy but what a bargain, thank you.

Exclusive Added 1st November 2012, Expires Today
Exclusive £15 off Orders Over £100 at Boots

ENTER THIS CODE AT THE CHECKOUT VCPPC1115

The discount code definitely works with all the 3 for 2s etc.

izzyishavingababyAGAIN · 30/11/2012 10:11

WOW I am thrilled with my house, I have the kitchen dinner, the house, the childrens room and the royal dinner party for £95 delivered, then I had £11.28 in points and also I think cash back. Brilliant.

OhTheConfusion · 30/11/2012 10:28

To the lovely lady who told me about TIGER... one opened in Glasgow yesterday!!! Grin
I stood in a huge que but it was worth it for the £20 worth of stocking fillers... from finger puppets to creepy bugs in perspex Hmm and to the lady who mentioned the 1/2 price lego, turns our DD1 must need more... you can never have too many bricks, right?

I got all my make up (which I needed anyway) from boots and got another £24 worth of points.

Jones the Bootmaker have a good sale on winter boots... I got £45 off a pair.

The works also have some good paperbacks on 3 for £5.

trixymalixy · 30/11/2012 10:38

I was in there too, I couldn't be arsed standing in the queue though it was massive!!

Thanks for the IWOOT code, been looking for one.

insanityscratching · 30/11/2012 10:39

Well ds's dragon from ELC has arrived, it's much bigger than I expected considering I paid just £3. Will need to ditch the packaging as he'd be offended I'd bought it from ELC even if he does love the dragon (he's an ASD teen.)

OhTheConfusion · 30/11/2012 10:40

Oreo, thanks for the cinema deal... thats Bil and Sil sorted from the kids Grin
May even check if I can buy more than one and take DH to see Skyfall.

SparklyVampire · 30/11/2012 11:04

If anyone knows where i could find a horrible histories boxset cheap, i will be eternally greatful Grin

Prolificmincepiebreeder · 30/11/2012 11:05

Hello! Does anyone know of any Dulemn Mill codes at all? I would be really grateful.

Prolificmincepiebreeder · 30/11/2012 11:06

Sparkly Vampire it's £14 on Amazon if that helps?

craftynclothy · 30/11/2012 11:12

That cinema deal is really good. No use to me & Dh though as we've nobody to babysit while we go Sad.

zipzap · 30/11/2012 11:16

New one-day-only (today!) code for the Book People - gives free delivery and 10% off if you spend £30 or 15% off if you spend £40. Code is PAYDAY.

Sparkly Vampire - they have quite a lot of horrible history stuff at the book people - including a big book of the horrible history of Britain for £5 instead of £13, and a horrible science set for £10 instead of £60-ish. I'm guessing they also probably have reasonable deals through somewhere like quidco (I use dh's work's equivalent of quidco which always has good BP deals on), plus I've stacked offers with others that I've found on voucher codes sites and they have some that kick in automatically - spending over £40 I got a free RHS diary and buying two kids film/tv books I got a free octonauts book, two reference books and you get a free dictionary etc. I did two £40 orders the other day - lots of people getting book presents from me this year! - stacked loads of offers and codes so ended up with lots of money off and free books.

SparklyVampire · 30/11/2012 11:24

Thank you ever so much Smile
My DS will be thrilled with those!

I shall take this opportunity to wish you all a very merry christmas

kiwidreamer · 30/11/2012 11:37

I've just come back from Tesco, Reading, Napier Rd and they had the Imaginext Mega T Rex down from £44 originally to £11 (was £22 recently), my DS got it fo his 4th birthday and has played with it loads - utter bargain at that price for about the 3 - 5yr age range, maybe older but I don't know any older lads very well

They also had a number of other large-ish items heavily reduced, cant remember details now but mix of girl / boy / baby items

zipzap · 30/11/2012 11:51

Has anybody seen any manicure sets for boys? Nothing fancy, just a nail scissors and nail clippers really, but that can be kept together and look boy-ish?

DS1 is 7 and starting to want to be more in charge of cutting his own nails, this is the age I remember getting a manicure kit when I was little and although I've seen lots for girls, women and men, there doesn't seem to be anything for boys. It also needs to be a relatively cheap one - I can see that it is likely to get lost or messed up in some way but thought it would be a nice step as he gets older in looking after himself!

Likewise - anybody seen any nice cheap coin purses suitable for boys - again, loads for girls but nothing boyish - they just seem to have wallets. He has a wallet but would be nice to have a coin purse that he can keep in his school bag for his tuckshop money (but not too expensive in case it gets nicked!) I've tried ebay and amazon - both of which looked like they might have some but the suitable ones were no longer in stock.

thanks!

ShoopShoop · 30/11/2012 11:54

Kiwi - you're just round the corner from me :)

I usually use the Oxford Road Tesco though - but thanks for the tip! I still have some bit to get for DNephew Grin

MonsterBookOfTinsel · 30/11/2012 14:01

Kiwi thanks, ds will love that to go with his castle, hope my tesco have them in :)

Arithmeticulous · 30/11/2012 14:19

My Thorntons hampers have arrived Grin But can you believe the utter bastards have updated their packaging after last year's fiasco and none of it is broken Shock I figured I'd have to have at least half of it replaced [bhmm]

oreocrumbs · 30/11/2012 14:30

Toys r us £92 worth of lego for £39.99

Have copied the passage explaining below from HUKD:

Just spotted this on the Toys 'R' Us website, and it's one hell of a good Lego deal.

The multi packs are a combination of other Lego sets, and can be quite a good deal anyway, but this one's half price, so it's OUTSTANDING value.

The set's number 66428, and it includes:

7498 - Lego City Police Station - £71.99 at Lego: shop.lego.com/en-GB/Police-Station-7498
4436 - Lego City Patrol Car - £7.99 at Lego: shop.lego.com/en-GB/Patrol-Car-4436?CMP=KAC-SAHCSEU8&HQS=4436
7279 - Lego City Police Minifigs - £8.49 at Lego: shop.lego.com/en-GB/Police-Minifigure-Collection-7279
7235 - Lego City Police Bike - £3.50 at Lego: shop.lego.com/en-GB/Police-Motorcycle-7235

Total of £92 worth of Lego for £40!

oreocrumbs · 30/11/2012 14:37

Asda Imaginext Batcave £30. Just incase anyone is still looking for deals on it.

oreocrumbs · 30/11/2012 14:39

Boots Razor chalk scooter, half price at £24.99 untill 4/12.

oreocrumbs · 30/11/2012 14:43

mercibucket I would buy another mansion, and take the first one back. As long as it is unopened it should be fine.

This is the downside to being super organised, they do put offers on near to christmas than can trump earlier bargains.

LinzerTorte · 30/11/2012 16:10

Playmobil mansion now out of stock at Boots. Not that we really needed any more Playmobil...

BeaWheesht · 30/11/2012 17:14

Just in tesco and toys are 3 for 2

mercibucket · 30/11/2012 17:21

That chalk scooter does not look like a good idea if you have narky neighbours!

Just got the half price pink lego brick box from argos, apparently also with free base plate (another mnet thread) well, I say got, I have reserved it. Looks a good price at 12.50

bulletwithbutterflywings · 30/11/2012 17:51

Anyone seen a Playmobil school cheap? Or any other toy school? Cheers :)
