We are taking our 2 DS 10 and 5 to EuroDisney and Paris for 5 days the day after Boxing day. Want to reveal this on christmas morning.....only 2 sleeps till we go!
Any of you imaginative folk have a fun way of doing the reveal.
Think DS10 may have his suspisions which I don't mind really as bulids up the excitment.
Thought about a treasure hunt with clues leading to the tickets......

Kinky, hope you have a fab time. It will be wonderful.
I am beginning to think we should tell them earlier as you could be right about not having enough time to look forward to it, which is the best bit I think.
Also may not want to leave behind their xmas pressies.
Not that there will be a huge amount after paying for this.

As its the 20th Anniversary there are a lot of themed ornaments and stuff On Disney Store... maybe you could do an invite with one of these

we booked it, got everything sorted, got the DC's excused from school (he teachers were really excited for them!) then about 2 days before sat them down and asked them wher they wanted to go on holiday. unbelieveably considering DH had kept all the paperwork at work they guessed! have you seen the adert where the kids start jumping around screaming? that was the reaction Grin
Christmas there is the best x

After chat with DP we have decided to tell them earlier to build up the excitement.
Will either do it on 1st Dec ( I like the ornament idea fir that) and give thrm a Disney advent calender with 2 days added on somehow, or on 5th Dec , DS1 bday.
Can't wait!

Don't do it on your DS birthday. I'd do it day after in that case. Decorate the Christmas tree and have Disney decorations.

I love it Fos. Have ordered Mickey.
Think you are right 5. Will do it after his bday I think.

We told DD we were going to France to see some wine farms and possibly we could find a beach/playground for them in between farm visits. When we arrived at Ashford, she was in awe of the Disney piccies in the station. Once we were inside we told her unfortunately we couldn't go to the beach in France, she sat with huge silent tears running down her face, DH told her not to cry as he had bought her a present, he handed her a wrapped parcel and envelope. I was an invitation from Mickey to come to a rodeo with him (we had booked Wild Bill's show as part of our dining plan) and the parcel had some ears and minnie mouse outfit. I have never seen a smile so big!
