I am well into my christmas shopping now Grin . Just wondering if we can share any good reductions online for those early organisers. I got some lovely body lotion from L'occitaine last week 70% off plus a code for free shower gel and I've already used half a pot of one of the lotions already Blush but I just checked and it's finished Sad .

I remember last year I got a practically free tin of celebrations from viking direct via here and on the look out for bargains and was hoping people would share.

If you have someone who would like dove toiletries see this thread for £30 of free dove stuff from ocado (I've already ordered mine probably use it myself though

I haven't even started on amazon yet....
On the book people website sorting out birthday presents for school birthday parties. I know it's not Christmas but its off my things to do list so that I can concentrate on serious Christmas shopping.

I have just discovered pinterest so this may be a new obsession!

Hiya, if you are trying to order elc stuff its worth ringing them up. I had heard a while ago that they sometimes have stuff that says out of stock in stock when you ring up and also if you say the code wont work they will just put it through with the discount.

I know this as both worked for me last week! I had the discount codes of Blackbird, bluebird and safari. The very nice lady on the phone also said as its the run up to Christmas they will just give you the discount if you ring up.

I have just had an email from Argos to say the that despite the email I received about the boat, actually the item has been discontinued and they will not be having any more stock. Oh well.

If anyone has any more links for playmobil I would be extremely grateful, I need to be a bit quicker off the mark I think. Grin

Not sure if this has been posted already, but there's a 30%off code on vouchercloud for body shop. It says it's in my local one, but I assume it's local to wherever you are. Doesn't seem to be online though Sad

Marking this thread for later (lunch hour o-v-e-r).

Thanks for the Star Wars find, Sharon. Have reserved one too.

PersuedByPenguins · 06/09/2012 13:59

Did you include sale items in your order Jules?

I have just tried and they said no as item was already reduced! Also asked when the imaginext sub would be back in stock and she said that it just stated out of stock with no date Sad

starjules · 06/09/2012 14:32

Yes PBP I have put in Blush 4 orders for my LO for Christmas from ELC over the last 2 months and each one had half price items and the 2 for £15 or the 2 for £10 and I got 20% on all of them this included the happyland box which said is out of stock on the website, but they have 2 in the warehouse! That ended up being £8.80 which is a bargain, in fact wish I had got both now and popped one on ebay as they are going for nearly full price then I would have some more pennies to but in another order Smile

I've been shopping again Blush. Disney store had mickey mouse, tinkerbell and lightening mcqueen stuff reduced - stationary sets, rucksacks and other little gifts. Also have the beach towels reduced to £8.

Superdrug did have a 10p clearance on, but it was crap. It was all damaged stock and old testers. They had some stickers for 10p, some nice diamonte hello kitty hairslides for 49p, and some make your own doll kits for 99p. They seemed popular, a few people in the queue had an armfull of them.

Will try ringing up about the scooter I want that is out of stock in elc, and see if I can use one of the codes, thanks for the tip!

Was in Boots today and they have lots of toys for £2 and £3 to make way for the new Christmas toys, you also get 3 for 2 on all purchases. Includes some small happy land sets, mecanno, dr who, postman pat, gruffalo, hungry caterpillar and fireman Sam I think.

I bought 2 small sets of mecanno and orchard game 'there was an old lady' for £2.25 each which worked out at £5 due to the 3 for 2. Also got a zhu zhu baby for £2.

Best be quick though as read about it on another forum and everything is going fast.

Excellent news about boots, we are in town tomorrow so will take a look. We used to get loads there (DH worked for them) but haven't been in for a while as we no longer get discount! But can't complain at those prices :o

oreocrumbs · 06/09/2012 17:16

Pah, I didn't go to boots! Bumped into MIL who whisked DD off on a train ride and I frittered my time away on cake. Typical!

Excellent thanks! Having a browse as we were thinking of getting one of the castles or something piratey. We saved all our £2 coins starting 1st Jan and after 5 months we counted it (£110!) and use it to buy amazon vouchers so it looks like they will be getting used today!

DesperatelySeekingPomBears · 07/09/2012 09:35

Tesco in store.... Just picked up the lego spaceship £30 down to £6.50 and those small lego sets.. not sure what they were to start with but are now £1.50 (The one we picked up was a policecar and ambulance i think)

captainbeefheart · 07/09/2012 14:44

Home bargains, I just got recipe books as gifts. £1.59 were £9.99. They are great quality.
I spent £20 and got 8 people's gifts as well as some baby stuff I needed.
That's 8 kids sorted for Xmas for less than £20.

captainbeefheart · 07/09/2012 14:45

Blush am I a crap Aunt?

Pinot · 07/09/2012 14:48

No - a smart Aunt! Love doesn't equate to how much you spend.
