I am well into my christmas shopping now Grin . Just wondering if we can share any good reductions online for those early organisers. I got some lovely body lotion from L'occitaine last week 70% off plus a code for free shower gel and I've already used half a pot of one of the lotions already Blush but I just checked and it's finished Sad .

I remember last year I got a practically free tin of celebrations from viking direct via here and on the look out for bargains and was hoping people would share.

If you have someone who would like dove toiletries see this thread for £30 of free dove stuff from ocado (I've already ordered mine probably use it myself though

Can't remember who was after the Coen Bros films...just found these on Amazon £6.75

MooseyMoo · 28/09/2012 11:41

I've Ordered
Dr Seuss x3 £0.03p
Hunger Games £0.99p
Disney Princess Book Set £0.00p - add FREE5 at checkout. The other option is Angelina Ballerina.

Total = 6.01 inc delivery which is 4.99. If you spend over £25 delivery is free. Disclaimer - I haven't used this website before, but seems like a v good bargain. My DD loves dr Seuss

Just been and collected my Argos reservation, got a bike for DD half price and included in 3 for 2 so for £101 I got baby born boy, baby born horse, a 14" bike and some moshi statues, I then got a £10 voucher which I used to get 3 craft sets for £12! Very happy with that todaySmile

Turned out the Jolly Stories book for £1.99 from Sainsburys Entertainment was too good to be true - pricing error and they're not honouring the order. They have sent me £2 voucher though, so pretty fair of them.

electra · 28/09/2012 13:55

Build A Bear currently have £15 off a £50 spend.

Not an online store but there is a little book shop in Islington that does kids books for £1...brand new books, some absolutely lovely ones inc the Large family range right now...its absolutely well worth a look!

It's just off St. Johns st in islington...into on the right hand side if the road if you're walking down, just past Jamies Italian/hummingbird bakery...its call something like "children's books" and has "new books £1" on the Window

It doesn't look like much from the outside but I've had some lovely books from there!!

reastie · 28/09/2012 14:57

Thanks moosey - just ordered the same as you Grin . Has anyone read the hunger games? I've seen the film Hmm . It's just it looks like it's a cross over childrens/adult book - I'm wondering if it's something I can give FIL for christmas or if it's something which will be too childish for him IYKWIM.

reastie · 28/09/2012 15:04

blame FIL definitely not a twilight lover Grin - he likes sci fi type stuff though and the film seemed a bit sci fi -ish

This is extremely specific so not holding out hope, but, does anyone know where I can get celtic type earrings, pref with amethyst (or similar) in on offer or not too pricy? Doesn't have to be silver/gold.

The Hunger Games trilogy is brilliant. A bit gory though, I won't let my 10 yr old read it.

BlameItOnTheCuervo · 28/09/2012 15:09

I saw some in amazon, I will take a squizz

MooseyMoo · 28/09/2012 15:32

I haven't heard of the hunger games myself but did quick look on amazon and had good reviews. Seemed a good bargain for trilogy at 99p Grin

MooseyMoo · 28/09/2012 15:36

reastie Pia do lovely jewellery. I have bought celtic type earrings before (sil loves Celtic style jewellery)

IsItMeOr · 28/09/2012 15:40

Hunger Games is essentially a Roman war story with futuristic sciency bits. So it has a lot of gore, and deals with war-like themes. I thought it was very well done, but it's not a light read!

MooseyMoo · 28/09/2012 15:40

Kind of Celtic style

BlameItOnTheCuervo · 28/09/2012 15:47

I love pia stuff.

reastie · 28/09/2012 16:07

Have tried pia but none celtic enough!

TimeForCake · 28/09/2012 16:22

Do Past times do celtic style jewellery?
Maybe it's more art deco come to think of it. Could be worth a try just in case.

Bluetinkerbell · 28/09/2012 16:35
