I am well into my christmas shopping now Grin . Just wondering if we can share any good reductions online for those early organisers. I got some lovely body lotion from L'occitaine last week 70% off plus a code for free shower gel and I've already used half a pot of one of the lotions already Blush but I just checked and it's finished Sad .

I remember last year I got a practically free tin of celebrations from viking direct via here and on the look out for bargains and was hoping people would share.

If you have someone who would like dove toiletries see this thread for £30 of free dove stuff from ocado (I've already ordered mine probably use it myself though

I've just remembered that I had an email from Tesco direct saying that kindles are currently on offer at £69. I have no idea if this is good but last time I looked they were about £100!

Not all online, but just posted this in Money Saving Advice for Christmas thread.

Good shopping today.

I have just been to Poundland and the presents there are really excellent this year. I bought 4 sets of beaded things, such as purse/pen/notebook/trinket box, for a total of £2-£3 a set, as well as a glitter tea light burner and matching glitter tea lights for DD's stocking (£1 each), I bought some cheap but classy matching gift boxes in the shop next door for £1.49 each, with some shredded white stuff to go underneath, and I now have four presents for about £20 altogether that look amazing.

Best trinket box

Matching pen and notebook set

I also bought lots of wrapping paper and sellotape, cellophane bags for home made goodies, and birthday cards at 4 for £1. Very good levels of stock, but a lot of the Christmas stuff isn't in yet.

Other Poundland bargains included a lovely yellow kaleidescope with a clown motif for DS3, some Spiderman inflatable armbands also for DS3, and a snowflake travel mug for DD.

Travel mug

A purple spotted water bottle for DD was another £1 bargain - looks like a SIGGI one.

Online I have found some really amazing things at Muddy Puddles, such as pretty pink knitted hats for 10-13 year old girls for a grand total of 30p! Less 15% if you use the code 15OFFWKD! There are also fleece gloves for babies and toddlers for 30p, and swim suits for little girls for £3.

Here

Hi All,

Have been watching this thread with interest for a while. I was in Asda yesterday and bought toys in their 2 for £20 offer. I got a leapad cooking pot (talking thing) which should have been £16, plus a giant remote control tarantula which should have been £15. Both look quite good and meant I have better presents for friends children than usual, within budget.

Worth a look.

flubba · 24/09/2012 07:53

whoneeds I can't see the BOGOF offer on play?

flubba · 24/09/2012 08:10

Ignore me ~ found it :)

reastie · 24/09/2012 08:30

Be careful of that buy one get one free disney dvd offer on play - just seen you can buy monsters inc on it's own for £8, but under the offer it's listed as £14 Hmm . I'm sure there are some good offers under the offer but pick and choose carefully and check elsewhere prices

Word of warning to the Smyths bargain hunters, check they deliver to your postcode BEFORE you spend the whole afternoon on the website. Got to checkout to be told they don't deliver to my area.

Wouldn't mind so much but I've shopped there heaps of times, seems they've totally changed where they deliver to as I'm not even somewhere remote or normally questionable!!

IHeartKingThistle · 24/09/2012 09:46

Barbie film boxset is on amazon lightening deals - 19 films for £24. Be quick!!!

flubba · 24/09/2012 10:39

The Works is doing a box set of Dr Seuss books for £29.99 - 20 hardbacks by the looks of things.

flubba · 24/09/2012 10:49

Oh, and Play.com's BOGOF also works if you only get odd numbers. I originally had 4 DVDs in my basket but decided against one of them, but the half-price stayed. Not sure if a blip or not, but DVDs for £7 essentially. Can't be bad! :)

CoffeeGoneColdAgain · 24/09/2012 10:56

Thanks Iloveholidays just ordered dd's playmobil advent calendar, first time for us, so looking forward to it. :)

iloveblue · 24/09/2012 10:58

aspie that happened to me too - but only for the Lego batcave. I bought another couple of Lego items and all went through fine. Confused
I thought maybe it was mistake and they meant it was out of stock.

EdMcDunnough · 24/09/2012 11:07

Lands End have still got their 25% off till tonight - code being EXT25PC I think.

I just ordered a Christmas stocking from them, we've got two already but this is for the new baby.

Here and if you search 'stocking' they have a few in their outlet too, reduced.

Reastie, thanks for the Coen Bros thing - brilliant.
