This summer, my DSis and I booked next-door mobile homes on a caravan park for a week's holiday. I paid for both holidays up front and she paid me some of the money back.
However, her situation has now changed and I know there is no way that she is going to be able to afford to pay me back the outstanding money (just over £250).
We are in a position where we can afford to 'write-off' this money. We had a great holiday - both families went away together; we had booked the cheaper holiday so that she could afford to bring her 2DC with her (she is a lone parent).
So, as her Christmas present, we have decided to give her a voucher saying that the outstanding money is her gift (although I have bought her some socks and a nail polish so she has something to open).
She is also giving us vouchers as our gift - these will be babysitting vouchers. I am really eager to have this gift as DP and I very rarely get to go out without our DDs whilst DSis is on her own every weekend as her ExDH has their children.
Any ideas on how to word the voucher regarding writing off her debt to us?
