HMV, Waterstones or Game.

Probably HMV because they have a bit of everything in there.

I have given some of my nephews Game vouchers as they are into xbox, the others are having very boring cash to get what they want.

Sparklingbaubles · 03/12/2011 15:40

Amazon great. Also mine would like-Argos, Game, Gamestation, JJB Sports or Sports Direct.

pinkhebe · 03/12/2011 15:40

amazon

mumatron · 03/12/2011 15:44

didn't think of HMV, thanks otter

I'm not sure if the boys have any games consoles so wont bother with Game.

Amazon. Easy for giver and recipient and allowing spends on pretty much anything a teen boy could want, mostly things are cheaper than high street stores.
My 15yr old son uses his for audible audiobooks at the moment ( he's git quite a terry pratchett collection now). I run it and if he's run out if vouchers from birthday/ Xmas I'll either give him an audiobook just because, or I could get one for me I guess.

(audible also links well with iTunes so it means the whole family actually can share his audiobooks- on different players- so I think gifting them sometimes is fair!) .

the Post Office does a gift card that be used in a variety of shops. You can get them from the post office or order them online one4all gift cards

Seona1973 · 04/12/2011 12:53

you also get love2shop vouchers which again can be used in a variety of shops

I have a 13 year old. He would love vouchers for Hollister or Republic.

OneHandFlapping · 04/12/2011 16:12

Mine would prefer cold hard cash. Vouchers often can't be used online, require an extra shopping trip to the seventh circle of Hell eg Westfield, and usually have to be topped up with own cash to extract the last few £ from the card/voucher.

I have boys of 12 and 14, Amazon covers the bases especially if they don't have consoles, otherwise Game would be my other suggestion. Amazon covers books, music toys and console games prices from a few pounds. Clothes vounchers would be of no interest to my boys but I can see the attraction of cash. I hate giving cash and have held out with nephews and neices until they are 16+, but perhaps I'm a meanie Xmas Smile

Bellavita · 04/12/2011 16:28

Mine would like I-Tunes vouchers

when mine were that age they loved pizza express vouchers so when they went into town with friends they stopped off for lunch, happy ds,both of them

mumatron · 05/12/2011 09:27

Cash isn't really an option (it's a secret santa type thingy) so I think I may just go for Amazon and maybe pizza express/cinema voucher.

Thanks all.
