Please help me with gift ideas if you can. Uncle (early 50s) budget £25. Uncle (late 40s) budget £10. Uncle (early 40s) budget £10. Uncle (early 30s) budget £10. Bil (35) budget £25. None of them have any hobbies. Its driving me mad trying to think of ideas.

I've said to my family (not to my own DCs or GDGrin) that we're not going to give presents at Xmas( you could say you'll give to their fave charity if they want you to) TBH all my rellies are relieved not to have to buy presents and find somewhere to put more STUFF IYKWIM.

Can think of the standard men presents which are:

Scarf
Gloves
Nice shirt
Socks
Slippers
Nice umbrella

All a bit boring I suppose but expect is what I'll b getting my male relatives!

There are also food and booze type gifts. Fortnum & Mason do a 'merry gentleman' hamper that you could maybe nick some ideas from.

Otherwise maybe theatre vouchers or a magazine subscription of some sort?

This year, the 'difficult to buy for men' will be getting Clarins (or similar) shower wash. Can't remember exactly how much it was but was under £20, I think.

Do any of them listen to iPods when out and about? You can get beany-type hats that have integral earphones which are quite fun. I bought one this weekend in Debenhams and it was £10, I think. Amazon also do them.

My nephew has just got his first car and he is getting leather gloves and a credit card windscreen ice-scraper.

Wine bottle stoppers or chillers.

Cashmere socks (I seem to recommend these for everyone!)

Bottle/case or wine, port, cheese.

Cd/DVD. My FIL will get 'The Kings Speech' this year and maybe a historical novel.

Fortnum & Masons goodies go down well and are beautifully presented even though they are spenny.

Eg DH always loves their coffee and the tins look so lovely that he keeps them to store cheaper coffee when the good stuff has gone!

He's also partial to the marmalade but if you can get to the shop the selection there is amazing.

The florentines are to die for and a perennial favourite of my Dad's.
