I have too many people to buy for and not enough ideas .

Random googling is really not helping .

Any ideas please ?

Thank you , I will have a nose .

I am fed up with getting to the week before Christmas and panic buying shite nobody really wants for more money than I should be spending .

I particularly love this item - I bought two when they were on cheap, and had them shipped to Australia for only £10 because I knew I'd be really sad if one stopped working [saddo]

And most recently I splashed out on this - but probably shouldn't have. It is very good, but I don't use it as much as I ought to, given the cost.

Happy hunting anyway - I love the site! :)

play.com is very good, it has a good selection for adults and kids. It also has free delivery. Happy shopping!

Have found a great idea for anyone who has a teenager who is into music or in a band (my children are only babies!). Bahighlife.com are holding a music auction and one lot is the chance to win a recording session in a London studio overseen by Coldplay's producer... Auction ends on Tues!

Urban Outfitters has really good interesting gifts, homewares, and books for creative/styley types, as well as clothes, and they have a 75% off sale until tomorrow. I've just got some fab presents including great books for a fiver, jewellery, hipflasks, t-shirts for dp for a tenner. Am very pleased as have done all of my awkward shopping on there for the kids godparents, my teenage nephews and nieces (niblings?), and some fun bits for dp, in one big cheap hit!

Eddas · 30/10/2011 17:09

thanks greenbluered, think i'm gonna buy a few bits on there for the awkard like you did! I do like a sale

Wigeon · 30/10/2011 21:32

Thank you so much GreenBlueRed for the tip - I have never shopped there but just found several things (including, like you, tshirts for DH!) - really good deals with the 75% off! And I found a free delivery code just by googling (TREATME for anyone interested).

Very impressed with myself that I've started Christmas shopping in October - think I've never managed to be so organised before.

GreenBlueRed · 30/10/2011 21:49

Glad it helped, Widgeon and Eddas. That free delivery code is great too, thankyou, had been thinking today after I ordered that I could have crossed another few people off but wasn't worth it without free delivery (got it earlier as I spent over £75), so might have another go on there tomorrow!

i find this a good one for children of ages i am not familiar with - but this year got a lot of stuff from there for my own dcs and they were all hits.

www.wickeduncle.co.uk/?gclid=CLOoicC0kawCFRRc4QodN0urlw

and for grown up stuff this is good - once used it for everyone's christmas presents - when had a baby and a toddler -- not good chrimbo shopping combo.

www.notonthehighstreet.com/?gclid=CMqm1vy0kawCFcod4QodiiJgnw there is some twee or expensive stuff on there but some good stuff too - and a huge range. plus it's not from a high street store so feels different... look out for varying p&p charges though - because they're all different selllers they are different but i usually find something i like and then check out the rest of that seller's range and make it worth the postage that way (i hate paying for p&P)
