It can be ANYTHING!

Mine is being snuggled up on the sofa, with the fire and all the tree lights on and watching a nice film.

I also love everything about Christmas Eve, all the excitement! (To me Christmas Eve is more exciting than Christmas Day)

The School Nativity plays!

And most of all, seeing my Children's faces light up when they come home to and see the house looking like Santa's Grotto. And last but not least, seeing their faces on Christmas morning!! :)

Coming out of Midnight Mass, aged about six, at a little church in a wood. While we had been inside it had SNOWED!

Christmas a few years ago when we went skiing in Austria to a village where dh's aunt lives. We went to the children's service at 4 p.m. on Christmas Eve, then trudged up through the snow to aunt's apartment where we exchanged gifts, phoned family, drank champagne and ate good food. Aunt's downstairs neighbours invited us all down to their apartment for the lighting of the real candles on their christmas tree and their teenage sons played carols on brass instruments. DS2, who was 6, stood on a chair dressed in his best shirt and bow tie, and sang Away in a Manger by candlelight. It was magical!
