I think it was either the 99p shop or the local £ shop - but i'm probably wrong Grin

I don't want anything for them - just that you'll give me your honest opinion is all. I don't like dark chocolate, and manshape doesn't like cherry, so i'm a bit stumped.

I've been thinking of both of thoes things thunder, but I wasnt sure where to get dried lavender from and I've been trying to use up stuff i already have... But that says you can add cinemon (sp?)That would be quite nice and festive! Oh dear, I guess more money on material and ribbon it is then! [hgrin]

I've made a few of them addicted and they're beautiful. I've picked my own lavendar (you only need a couple of Tbsps per bag). Look gorgeous. I've also made a more 'blokey' one with tea tree oil (as I had some spare). Your list is about the same as mine minus the scrubs.

About to get on with some decorating of fairy cakes for my DD's birthday this weekend :) :) so Christmas things are on hold for a couple of days.

micku5 · 14/10/2011 22:28

Just to let you know I saw some peppermint and cherry candy canes in the 99p store.

roundabout1 · 14/10/2011 23:04

Oooh I'm so pleased I found this thread, although you lot put me to shame as a lot of what I want to make will never actually materialise! Am I being a bit thick but what is a crayon roll?

acsec · 15/10/2011 00:27

Made heart shaped crayons today :)

I'm hoping to have some stuff on a friend's craft stall at the school Christmas fete!

FeedDeeTilIWantNoMore · 15/10/2011 07:48

roundabout1 - a crayon roll is a length of material with small pockets sewn in, that crayons can fit into. Then when child is finished colouring, it simply rolls up and ties together. Like this here

I give in! I have been lurking. I have been resisting. And now I have failed.

Sign me up for hand scrubs and body scrubs. And hopefully some other stuff if all goes smoothly in the land of 3DC under 5, a dog, a DH who works away most of the week and a dad who has landed on us and used up the very last inches of space in our already too small home while he waits for his house purchase to go through.

And as I've failed at resisting this I may as well fail at resisting pinterest too. Would somebody be so kind as to send me an invitation, please?

microwave tablet recipe

LittleChiefRunnyCustard · 15/10/2011 09:05

Robino if you go to the Pinterest website (.com I think) you can apply for an invitation, mine came in less than 24hrs.

FeedDeeTilIWantNoMore · 15/10/2011 10:41

Really silly question, but the cinnamon honey butter - i do have to sterilise the jar it's going in, don't i? And anyone know how long it keeps for?

CupOfBrownJoy · 15/10/2011 17:56

Ok I have picked a couple of pounds of haws today - I want to do a jar of jelly and a drink of some sort...

The only drink recipe I can find uses brandy, and I don't really like brandy. Does anyone know if I can just bung them in with some gin and sugar same as for sloes? Does it work?

TIA [hsmile]

Trills · 15/10/2011 19:01

Go for it - if it works with brandy it'll work with gin.

I made the garlic & chilli mustard from further up the thread today - the amount of vinegar specified made it quite runny, but hopefully the mustard seeds with absorb some of the liquid and make it stickier.

BabyDubsEverywhere · 15/10/2011 19:25
