In our family we usually go to my parents for Christmas.
Ever since we left home, my Dad started a little annual game where we all have to bring a home made decoration with us, this now also includes DH, my sister's DP, and now DD. We've had some great ones over the years! Grin

Yes, they do! (but we are an exceptionally crafty home made home type family) of geeks Xmas Grin

oh i love all the little bits and pieces they have made. I even have the obligatory toilet roll angel on top of the tree, for the 13th year in a row. (Oooh they were built to last in those days!)

Ooooh, DS and I are in the middle of a salt dough decoration making frenzy! DS is having a brilliant time - dough, paint, glitter, what could be better?! The results are a little crap rustic though.

We're making Granny a salt dough bead necklace too. Can't wait to see her face on Xmas morning Xmas Grin

pookamoo, so while you're probably talking about <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.infobarrel.com/media/image/3801.jpg&imgrefurl=www.infobarrel.com/Interesting_Handmade_Christmas_Ornaments&usg=__3tRh9hcTNIHBhZpBCitzNqehMdU=&h=376&w=500&sz=132&hl=en&start=31&sig2=6myIs2tKpnc_Z7MK29GZxw&zoom=1&tbnid=LJmzo0tjOE_tFM:&tbnh=124&tbnw=167&ei=pending&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dhandmade%2Bchristmas%2Bdecorations%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1276%26bih%3D587%26gbv%3D2%26tbs%3Disch:10%2C1092&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=478&vpy=255&dur=32&hovh=195&hovw=259&tx=155&ty=119&oei=LiIKTbmoOpG4hAfGsa2ODw&esq=3&page=3&ndsp=19&ved=1t:429,r:15,s:31&biw=1276&bih=587" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this type of thing, all very nice, I'm talking the kind of thing a 4yr old would make.

Massive, that is one sturdy angel!

somewhere in between I think! Grin

DD is 2 so think GLITTERRRRRRRRRRR!

My DB (who has never been known to have a cooking bone in his body) did make a santa out of cake icing one year, that was impressive!

hmmSleep · 16/12/2010 14:42

Ah yes, glitter, ds (3yrs) has just brought a black star covered in a gold glitter design home from playgroup, it's actually quite chic looking.

3 years ago my then 1yr old wodged two hoops of loo roll tube together and secured it to the tree with an elastic band.

It just wouldn't be Christmas without it now.

I miss our homemade christmas angels, have 6 dc's and when they were all smaller and made angels they all had to go on top of the main tree, tied together in a drunken group, they all looked so ... merry Xmas Wink Only 2 dc's are still of an age to bother now, and they don't Sad
