Where to hang decorations apart from on the tree?

I have a couple of decorations that I don't want on the tree because I'm worried they're going to fall off and smash. I'd like a small (wooden maybe?) tree or something with hooks on that I can securely hang these decorations from.

Any suggestions? I've just had a really quick search on ebay but I don't really know what to put in the search bar!

Erm, we have a couple of those things you get to put on your mantelpiece that are for stockings to hang on. So heavy, weighted snowmen with a hook on for example. They currently have glass tree decorations on them so they don't fall off the tree and smash. We got them from TK Maxx. You don't need a mantelpiece, they can sit on a bookshelf instead.

I've seen the stocking hangers in shops but they were quite expensive. I'll have a look to see if they have them in my local TKMaxx, thanks.

I've got a mini silver tree that you can hang decorations on - it was from John Lewis.

Some of those twisted willow sticks? Can get them in garden centres. Or some kind of wooden woven wreath and hang the baubles on that?

I have found a selection of jewellery stands on ebay which should do the trick.

Anyone have any thoughts on this, this, this, this or this.
