I only have one in my collection (the WI complete Christmas) and feel the need for at least one more. or perhaps many. Tell me your favourites, please.

Love Nigella Christmas - lots of baking, lots of other tasty recipes, lots of alternatives. But the best bit is that for every recipe she gives you full details on how you can make it /freeze it in advance so you can really get on top of things in the run up to Christmas. No other Christmas book seems to do this, which drives me insane as nobody wants to be cooking everything from scratch for every single meal. So this books make cooking in advance super easy.

I was thinking of that, but am a bit wary of the reviews which say that if you've got "Feast" it's essentially a rehash. That doesn't put me off entirely, but I'm interested to hear if there are any other favourites. Agree that the prepare ahead stufff is v handy.

My Christmas bible - the lovely Sarah also has lots of make ahead stuff.

I also have Delia's Happy Christmas, published last year, which is good but not in the same league.

Delia's Christmas book has my mainstay recipes - mulled wine sorbet, sticky toffee pudding, good veggie things, nice canapes and snakcy things; old book but essential

I have got nigella Christmas and Feast and use Christmas book more, very useful here! I also have a very old good housekeeping Christmas book, which has decioratimg ideas and stuff too.

Why not borrow a selection from the lIbrary and go from there?

Another vote for Delia's original Christmas book - I keep my own notes from each year in there and love looking back through them (especially when we are going away for Christmas and not having to worry about any cooking Xmas Grin).
