Hai, it will be fine. Think of it as a glorified roast dinner. Decide what you would like to eat, and simplify it to what you feel confident making. Plan the timings from dishing up backwards, so that everything is ready at the same time. Write the timings down, so that you have something to refer to. Make use of your microwave where possible for things like frozen veg, heating up microwavable Christmas pud, ready prepared custard/brandy sauce etc.
Don't feel compelled to have certain foods just because they are 'traditional' just have what your family likes. We don't have turkey for example, because we prefer chicken. We don't have pigs in blankets, instead we have oven roasted sausages, and bacon that has been roasting on top of the chicken.
Prepare as much as you can in advance, I make my own stuffing and freeze it, thaw it on Christmas eve, some in a dish to oven bake, some in a freezer bag to shove into the chicken before it goes in the oven. Peel veg and put in poly bags in the fridge on Christmas eve. Don't worry about them losing vitamins, it's only one meal, and it saves time on the day when you will want to play with the DC and not be chained to the kitchen.
Hope it all goes well for you!
