Joint present ideas for 5yo and 2yo siblings?

I've got quite a few children to buy Christmas presents for who are siblings, and most of them are in the same age range as my two (5 ish and 2 ish). I'd like to buy them joint presents to make it easier (and cheaper as there are quite a few of them!) but am a bit stuck. Budget is small, £5.

So far I've only come up with two ideas- a) a bath toy that they would both have fun with and b) arty crafty materials.

Anything else out there that would fit the bill?

One of the orchard toys games?

Lidl gingerbread house kit? (I always recommend this) £5

'Traditional' DVD like Paddington bear or Winnie the Pooh

Wisps are they selling them at the moment? That sounds like it would be great fun.

They are indeed - in the Christmas display. It is worth getting pannetone (spelling?) while you are there. They are only cheap too and very nice.

I love pannetone but will have to refrain as I am writing this in my slimming world class :)

Craft would work as you could put a selection in there that would be suitable for both ages.

Games might be tougher as the 5y will be capable of more advanced games tha the 2y, and the gap will grow even more for a while.

What about Lego? Not Duplo, but proper lego. Could the 2y manage that?

Playmobil set - 5y not too young and 2y just about old enough.

CD of appropriate music - not nursery rhymes, but proper songs. Although I do like the They Might Be Giants 123s or ABCs.

Disney DVDs are on BOGOF at the moment and Boots have 3 for 2 offers on many toys and games.

My two are similar ages, and one of my most successful purchases recently has been some of these (we had the holiday ones, and there are lots of other themes) - they are great fun, both children can do them, and I keep them in my handbag for times when a distraction is needed. The only thing is that we had to buy a second dry-wipe pen!

Or a small set of face paints?

Ooh - also just thought of bath crayons which could easily be shared in the bath (Hawkins have them for £4)

cheap dvd £2-3 look in blockbusters, smiths, amazon, maybe the snowman or similar and bag of popcorn.
or add up total of children to buy for and do one big shop using boots 3 for 2's. I do this on behalf of my grandad each year and manage to get about 15 reasonable presents for around £40.
