Lots of vouchers with a festive chocolate attached?

Dull but you'll be done by the end of tomorrow.

Classy stuff under a tenner on:

MilkNoSugarPlease · 03/10/2010 17:26

Books is just a PITA tbh! I LOVE giving books but never sure if they have them etc

SecretNutellaFix · 03/10/2010 17:27

Mr Potato head for the 3yr old?

MilkNoSugarPlease · 03/10/2010 17:31

Girls
14y-neon bright stuff, jewellery etc
14y- clothes, clothes, clothes!!
11y- not sure tbh! everything!
8y- pink, glitter, "grown up" clothes and shoes
18m- Just remembered I've bought a scuttlebug for her!
18m- books (but has loads) peoples handbags!

Boys
10y-designer clothes, trainers, music
8y- football, games consoles
6y- Playmobil!
3y-Toy story
2y- cars and diggers
1y- anything he can eat!

Mr Potato head would be perfect for 3yo actually! arent they pricey though?

hawkins bazaar?

SecretNutellaFix · 03/10/2010 17:34

MNSP- around £7 in Mothercare for the actual toy, not the movie character.

MilkNoSugarPlease · 03/10/2010 17:36

Ooh £7 is fab!

They look the same (practically :o) thank you!

with the cheaper one he can change how he looks properlyGrin

I loved my sister when I was little.

SecretNutellaFix · 03/10/2010 17:40

how about mood rings for the older girls? they're quite cheap, about £2 and at that sort of age might be whimsical enough to attact their attention?

photo glitter globe? photos of friends are often an essential part of their lives at that age? £5 on hawkins

MilkNoSugarPlease · 03/10/2010 17:44

Nutella I think I love you!

For the 8yr old girl how about a gift bag full of lots of smaller things eg: hair slides, bath bombs, nice pen set etc.

for the 11yr old girl you could get a 'make something' kit. They do them in WH Smith or Hobbycraft. I got my niece a cute one where you make a bracelet from safety pins and beads. She loved it and made a really cool bracelet. Smile

My 8 yr old boy loves getting Game or HMV vouchers.

IMoveTheStars · 03/10/2010 17:48

Mr Potato Head is £5 on amazon atm.

Let me know if you want a 20% off ELC voucher too.

zisforzebra · 03/10/2010 17:49

safety pin bracelet kit

SanctiMoanyArse · 03/10/2010 17:51

If there's any left over from the fab ideas, boots have their 3 for 2 offer again.

SecretNutellaFix · 03/10/2010 17:52

10 year old boy?

how about these?

I got my friends ds a finger guitar from boots for his birthday a couple of weeks ago, but it was £13, so over your budget, but hese might be good?

MilkNoSugarPlease · 03/10/2010 17:53

Shock the proper toy story one is £40! bloody hell!

Thank you! will order from Amazon

Thank you for the offer but I'm trying (!) to not use ELC this year after a disastrous attempt last year!

Z- ooh that kit looks good! thank you!

Am thinking a cool stylus for the DS or something for 8yo boy, looks small but they cost about £8! I secretly covet the lightsaber ones :o

thanks all!

MilkNoSugarPlease · 03/10/2010 18:55

But am having second thoughts about wether to buy gifts for 1 18m old 8yo boy and 3yo boy

I dont see them much, just think I could save £30 tbh....aaargh!

OP posts:
The3Bears · 03/10/2010 19:22

I would just get them from boots each present £10 and you'll save as its 3 for 2 :)

HappyMummyOfOne · 03/10/2010 19:34

For the little one who likes books and handbags Amazon do a book called My Mummys Bag which may fit the bill.
