Hi we do a round robin between adults but the children are still bought presents of everyone. So those without kids get a raw deal, thought me and the dc could make some home made thanks Christmas presents.

I dont garden, I can cook no Delia smith but I can cook, I can draw and be crafty. Can someone give me some idiot guides to homemade presents please TIA>

Said it before, & doubtless will again, but this is the work of moments (esp. with a food processor for the chopping) and it tastes really good.

BigOfNoorks · 25/09/2010 17:53

Thanks I will do a trial run with these ideas and see which one suits my limited talents best Grin.

Oooh, keep the ideas coming! I would love to do home made gifts this year but have very few, if any, talents :)

Lost a lot of my links earlier this year when the computer broke, but I usually make my own boxes too to wrap them up in.
Or the cookies cover a piece of card in tin foil and wrap prettily in cellophane and ribbons.

Can you knit or crochet (or learn)? You can make scarves quite cheaply and easily.

My SIl made bottles of flavoured oils one year (chilli, garlic, herb), so she had bought olive oil in pretty bottles (Llidl do some impressive looking ones), steeped the flavouring in, steamed off the labels and made new ones saying what they were. I didn't get one Sad, I would have loved one!
