Snoring - could it be hayfever?

DD, 3, snores unbelievably loudly when asleep. When she's awake her breathing seems fine. This was a problem last summer, too, and we saw a homeopath (which seemed to make no difference). In the winter she was fine. She sleeps in our room (no other room) and it is really affecting my sleep, although DH seems oblivious. Has anyone got any good ideas?

Have been to Boots to look for Piriton - apparently, according to the packet, it can only be taken by 'children over two who weigh more than 30 kg. That is quite a well-built 3-year old! DD weighs 14kg, so we have a long wait.

Will look at website now. All the various piriton syrups, Piriteze, etc, said from age 6 onwards. I found one packet which said 'over 30 kgs'. Off to look at website now!
