I'm worried about my dd. She's 24 months and has no health concerns. However, she hardly drinks anything and I'm worried that she could become seriously dehydrated.
She constantly has access to drinks and I spend most of the day trying to encourage her to drink, but she just doesn't. Today she has drank less than an ounce of water all day. She has a cup of milk in the morning and drinks anything from 2-8oz ish, but the last week or so she's only been having a tiny amount, probably 2oz max. At night she has a sippy cup of milk and she will literally have a couple of sips and that's it. If I had to guess I'd say she's had no more than 3oz of liquid today.
She does eat a good amount of fruit, but I'm really worried that she's going to get ill, especially in this heat. Her nappies today were very dry, and overnight as well.
Should I be worried and how can I force encourage her to drink more?
