DS1 against all of our "rules" decided it would be a good idea to get it out (DH and I say only when we are there and not when he is shedding.)
DS made a sudden move and the Beardie bit him and broke the skin. DS has washed his hands and I have phoned the NHSDirect, who said check wether his tetnus is up to date it is. But Beardies have sallmonella in their mouths DS can't get sallmonella from this can he?

Dont think he can get salmonnella unless he licked the wound!. Could certainly get infected so watch it carefully for redness, swelling and pain.

i was bitten by my iguana years ago and had to get a tetanus shot, i honestly wouldnt worry too much about the salmonella thing so long as he's washed his hands
