Hi

DD is a bit under the weather: chesty cough, runny nose, bit cold and is having (on and off) issues with a molar coming through.

She was due to have the MMR today and Im considering postponing. Any one got any thoughts?

thanks

Quick reply as I've just arrived at work!
I think I'd go with your gut feel. Sometimes DS has a bit of a snotty nose but there's nothing more to it. It sounds like she's suffering with a few different little things and with one you might not worry but with the cumulative effect it really won't do any harm to postpone for a week or two.

Id definitely postpone. I think 'official' advice is unless they have a fever go ahead but I personally did postpone when ds wasnt well.

Yeah, my son was slightly under the weather and the nurse did his temp which was slightly up and she asked me to take him back a week later.

Thanks.

I meant to say a bit of a cold, not cold as in a temperature.

Think I will postpone but it will have to be for a month so as we will be going on holiday in 3 wks and I dont want to risk her getting side effects whilst we are away from home.

thank you
