well dh was supposed to be watching ds while i had a shower.

dh brings ds up to me in shower, ds had very bloody mouth, pjs etc.

i couldn't see anything and ds seems fine now. so i just mopped up the blood and gave him cuddles

BUT

I don't think so.

If you were worried about cleanliness you could try a saline mouthwash but it's probably unnecessary.

Cuts heal very quickly in the mouth, the blood supply is very good.

Poor DS.

i know!

doesn't help that all the dribble makes it look like he's losing pints!

I know this is a bit late but for future reference milk is really good for stopping bleeding in the mouth. I don't know why but it really does work .

A teaspoon of sugar will stop bleeding instanty.

Oh no! It's infected I think as it now looks like a White lumpy bump.

Don't panic mouth wounds do go white and lumpy as they heal. DD1 had a horrific looking white lumpy bump after biting her tongue. The doctor declared it a 'marvellous bit of healing tissue'

Just make sure his oral hygiene is good, and it will take care of itself. As long as there isn't puss, obviously.
