Best dribble bibs?

My 11 wk old DD is dribbling like a trooper! She is soaking normal bibs very quickly and is getting a rash under her chin. I have been looking at the various dribble bibs on the market but can't really see any decent reviews which give me an idea of which ones are best. I have been looking at:
-Skibz
-Dribble Ons
-Bipistuff Bandana Bibs
Has anyone used any of these or others?
I would be most grateful for advice!
Thanks

I use babble bibs. They have terry towling on the back and soft cotton on the front. really comfortable and well made for my DS. they have a website www.babblebib.com.

good luck!

chimchar may be interested in buying your bibs if you haven't put them on ebay yet.
Not sure I need all 24 though!

Hi,
You have my wholehearted support. All my little ones dribbled and i was too vain to cover up their outfits in feeding bibs. After alot of research on the subject of dribble(!) i found it was the high acidity content in saliva that caused irritation of their baby soft skin. With this in mind and the fact that i wanted them in funky dribble bibs, none of which were on the market at the time i started up a company producing them and what's more interesting is that people are now using them to solve the exact problem i did. Contact me via the web-site and I'll send you a complimentary one to try.
Best wishes
Helen

I'm bumping this as had thought of starting a thread on exactly this subject after being confused with so many available on ebay.

I inherited one bipistuff bib and have found it really good. I ordered some Funky Bibs off ebay because I really liked the choice of designs. And they're really nice, fit well and do the job, but the fleece backing isn't as good quality as the Bipistuff one so they get soaked through quicker.

Am off to check out a couple of those mentioned above. :)

Hi meandacat I am now the proud owner of no less than 22 Bibbles - they are pretty good BUT the top layer isn't all that absorbent, and some of the patterns fabric is not as good and has curled up at the edges IYSWIM (could try ironing but I don't really do that!). Bought them in bulk and they worked out pretty cheap.

Will let you know what I think of the Skibz when it arrives :)

Postscript to my above post... I ordered a single Bipi stuff bib off ebay and when it arrived, all three of the popper attachments were loose and ripped off within minutes of putting it on my baby. I'm wondering if it was a fake... I'm not sure how you can tell because the labels were all exactly the same as the bib I inherited. I got my refund, no questions asked so I dunno...

Anyway... gingerkirsty, that's interesting to know about the Bibbles. The Funky Bibs were plain cotton on the top layer and not as absorbent either as, say, jersey would be. Oh - and another thing - that faulty Bipi stuff bib? It was backed with the same fleece as the Funky Bib one. So if it's genuine, I'd say they're definitely using poorer quality materials than before.

I do really like the Funky Bibs designs though... what's not to like about pirate skulls on pink?! Wink

Hi,

I've been using Bandana bibs for a while now and i get all fo mind from Bibbles www.bandanabibs.co.uk
they've got loads of different ones, my little one has one for nearly every outfit :)
I love these bibs!
my sister also used these for her 3 children she tried a few websites but found these where the best price and quailty.

C2679 · 18/01/2011 21:47

Try Dribbz they are the best ones I've used & I tried quite a few different makes, some of the cheaper ones fell apart & others were too expensive to have several different ones, the material designs are really different too! www.dribbz.co.uk

rosieoscar · 27/01/2011 10:30

I have a friend who is a WAHM and she make beautiful dribble bibs in designer and unual fabrics (better than the usual choice out there). She also makes loads of other bits and bobs. The website is www.carriescrafts.net :)

ilovesprouts · 27/01/2011 21:36

i got mine of ebay fab they was, they have been passed to my grandsons now

sarahw78 · 03/03/2011 18:52

I stumbled across this website a while ago and I'm now addicted! They're dribble bibs are really effective - only have to change my baby girl once a day. They're a bit thicker than most so they also double up as a bit of a scarf in the winter! They have really funky designs that I've not seen anywhere else. I've got to the stage now where I think my daughter looks bare without one on!

we went through 6 bibs yesterday....so have just ordered another batch from Funky Giraffe. Lots of choice, thick fleece backing & nice & snug around the neck. Will have to put on another emergency wash today though!

Bobbie007 · 07/11/2012 18:14

Hi, my one year old is a massive dribbler!! The worst is when she falls asleep in my bed and my pillow is drenched, lol! I tend to get my bibs from www.funkygiraffe.co.uk They are lovely and soft and the best value bandana bibs on the market. Many cute designs too!

Bobbie007 · 07/11/2012 18:30

Oops, meant www.funkygiraffebibs.co.uk

shouldn't have gone on the site though, ended up ordering more! Hubby won't be happy Wink

FrightRunScream · 07/11/2012 19:09

I had a DribbleOn, which cost about a fiver, but had much better performance from some dribble bibs I got from eBay - which were about £9 for 4 or 5. They are called Bubba Bibs. www.Bubba-bibs.co.uk.

RissaC2011 · 14/02/2013 18:43

FrightRunScream I also highly recommend Bubba Bibs. I run a baby product review blog and you can read my full review here:

www.littlerascalreviews.com/reviews/clothing/bubba-bibs-dribble-bibs/

The post was unsponsored i.e. I paid for the bibs myself and received nothing from Bubba Bibs for the review.

Really hope this helps!

I can across a bandana dribble bib company called 'MyLittleOwl' I think there website is mylittleowl.co.uk have purchased 5 bibs of them so far and each one is just fantastic and very reasonable priced. Would really recommend and they are all handmade in the UK which I like to support.
