Any news on Mumpsvax ?

I wonder when Mumpsvax is going to be availbale in the UK again. Some parents might get cross with me for not vaccinating my kids with the tripple MMR vaccine rather than choosing the single ones. This is my choice and I am not a selfish parent.
I am thinking of doing just two jabs and then Mumps when it becomes available. I also feel so angry that private clinics charge a lot of money for the single vaccines; I would be that much angry if it did not include travelling for many miles to the designated clinic. NHS could have provided the patients with single vaccines for a fee. Why not?
Anyway, I feel so frastrutated that Mumpsvax is not available her in the UK anymore.

P.S. I had mumps when I was in my primary school. I was ill for a few days but I could not say it felt very bad. I did not like the feeling of the swollen neck. It was painful.
But now I read that mumps can be more dangerous to boys especially the older boys.

NHS provides one standard service. If you're not happy with that service you are free to seek your own treatment wherever it's available providing you're willing to pay for it. Appplies equally to vaccinations, operations and experimental drugs. If you're not prepared to travel or pay out some money to keep your child safe when there is a freely available alternative then that's really your decision

Mumps can make boys infertile if it affects the testicles.

Last heard that mumps vaccine not available till 2012, if then. Also have gone down singles route and have had measles and rubella. They explained at the clinic that mumps not a major problem with little ones but can cause worse problems (infertility) in older teenagers. Big increase in outbreaks currently in universities etc. The government thinking of vaccine programme for older teenagers but all very up in the air at the moment so not sure what is the policy.
