Is it normal for toddlers only to be sick at night?

Dd was sick last night and the night before. Only once on each night. Both times she woke up crying and then was sick as we got to her. In the day she seems fine, maybe a little sleepy.

Does this sound like a normal bug? Shouldn't she be being sick during the day as well? Not that I want that of course but it makes me wonder if this is something other than a bug. She is 2.4.

It doesn't sound as if she's coughing, but could it be congestion in her throat?

Not an informed medical opinion - just used to have a child who coughed then vomited at night (still have the child, cough's better).

Sounds exactly like DD who did this 4 nights in a row this week. Woke at 2ish, vomited and went back to sleep. Fine during the day if a little whiney / tired. Appetite was a bit stop / start, but no temp or any other symptoms.

We've had one night without vomit, and she seems to have developed a bit of a cough, which wasn't there before. Fingers crossed for a vomit free night for both of us.

you can't cause 2 washing loads with one vomit if you're sick on the kitchen floor

Coldtits I don't understand your post
